Not sure if it would help but a piece of their clothing sent to you. Scent can be a powerful stimulant. Smelling him as you play with your eyes closed might bring the memories back. Something of his shipped in a baggie to hold the scent might help. Just my attempt to help as I pondered. Saw you in profile you crotchet, maybe you could crotchet and pretty collar as you await his return. Would have to use material other than yarn but have seen some and they can be pretty and worn anywhere with the bright varied colors. Wish you well and all the strenght you will need to get through this difficult time.

Thanks for the idea for having a piece of clothing that smells like him. But unfourtnatly anything that has been over there stinks in a major way and as soon as it reaches here will either be washed or burned......LOL

Now for the collar idea that is not a bad one i am going to have to see what i can find. I am going to have to go to the craft store today and see........... Thanks for the ideas.......
