Sexual heroes/heroines-who's yours?

An aside to Shank: you're changing your vote from his character to the actor? Good call. Tim Curry's more interesting in the tidbits he's shared in interviews than Frank N Furter.

For this shelterd young man (at that time) seeing Franky in lace having his way with both the bride and groom - it never left my mind and truely set the ground for how I express my sexuality now.

Welcome to the thread Marquis..

I have heard your name mentioned before... Moi aussi j'aime beaucoup le divine de Sade, and of course his heavenly twin Sacher Masoch.

What a thought eh, to infuse your persona to such a degree as to give birth to a new word, by exposing quite an ordinary world!

Kafkesque, that's another one that's dear to me.

Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Boy

Debating whether or not to add Freddie Mercury to the famous people. He was the first self-proclaimed bisexual man I was aware of, which let me recognize a few things about myself. Didn't know such a thing existed before that. R.I.P.

It is interesting that you mention Freddy Mercury. He was a very interesting person. Did you happen to see that spcial that Queen had that talked about Freddy and his different personas and stages. I cannot remember the title but it was about Queen and Freddy's life. I think they produced it after his death.

I may have - Like you, I don't recall the title, but the themes you mention are familiar. Then again, there have probably been dozens of such. And yes, he was a very interesting person. Damn good performer, too. Of course, he lived his life like a performance in some ways.

I'm not debating anymore. He's on the list, for the reasons I gave.

I liked watching him perform. Ok, I have to add him to my list too. He had that don't give a damn persona, that was irresistable.

I don't have any "sexual heroes" that I can think of. That being said, I do admire many, if not all that have already been mentioned on this thread. I have a particular fondness for Tim Curry and the late great Freddie Mercury.

Firstly, may I say this thread has reminded me of a something I've believed for quite some time-

Intelligence and kink feed off each other. *quiet smile*

As for a hero- I would have to say a Dear Friend (with a very capital "F"), who taught me that labels/definitions are much to limiting, cherishing a Lover means giving them equal opportunity to show their adoration, and gender isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

(funny how you can miss someone so much it hurts, even though you still talk every day...)

Mines not so deep. The character that John Larrocette (sp) played on Night Court was my hero. There was something about that look in his eyes and the little smirk that reflected my feelings for the "fairer sex".

Rick James

Superfreak

She's a very kinky girl
The kind you don't take home to mother
She will never let your spirits down
Once you get her off the street, ow girl

She likes the boys in the band
She says that I'm her all-time favorite
When I make my move to her room it's the right time
She's never hard to please

{Refrain}
That girl is pretty wild now
The girl's a super freak
The kind of girl you read about
In new-wave magazine
That girl is pretty kinky
The girl's a super freak
I really love to taste her
Every time we meet
She's all right, she's all right
That girl's all right with me, yeah
She's a super freak, super freak
She's super-freaky, yow

Super freak, super freak

She's a very special girl
The kind of girl you want to know
>From her head down to her toenails
Down to her feet, yeah
And she'll wait for me at backstage with her girlfriends
In a limousine
Going back in Chinatown

Three's not a crowd to her, she says
"Room 714, I'll be waiting"
When I get there she's got incense, wine and candles
It's such a freaky scene

{Refrain}

{Bridge}

Temptations sing!
Ohhhhh
Super freak, super freak
That girl's a super freak
Ohhhhh

She's a very kinky girl
The kind you don't take home to mother
She will never let your spirits down
Once you get her off the street, ow girl

Blow, Danny!

Is somebody admitting to being a Lech? LOL

When I think of Rick James, I think of the Dave Chappelle Show's Charlie Murphy (Eddie's older brother) and his tales about Rick James.

Before he died, his defense was "Cocaine is a powerful drug". He said this in defense of some of the outlandish things he did that Charlie Murphy described.

Too bad he died just when he was coming back. His music was always solid.

Robert Mapplethorpe - for giving us a little of that classical aesthetic gleam

Lord Byron-- Read the poem Don Juan, my favorite line...
"and (our heroine, cant think of her name just now) whispering I will ne'er submit... submitted" ohhhhhh, melts me every time.

Pauline Reage and her heroine "O", first overtly sexual writing I ever read and it scared me senseless. And also taught me that it was ok to want to serve instead of it feeling so unnatural to demand to be served.

Finally, and Im surprised he hasnt been mentioned before-- I think we all owe some small measure of debt to the Marquis.

Wow! I was debating whether to post his name, lol.

Thanks, N.

cfuhrer

as you probably know, "Pauline Reage" is Dominique Aury*. Aury was a notable fellow's mistress, but didn't afaik IRL go through the SM rituals she (presumably) made up for "O", the character, in "The Story of O".

but i agree that book had a lot of impact at the time! calls up the dark side, SM desires.
