Happy New Year's Eve!

Got a call from the funeral home. My dad is being cremated right now. So many emotions and thoughts. My sister said she is blubbering at Costco buying berries and pumpkin pie where were his favorites.

Before I get to posting the pics we've been discussing, I forgot all about this party we went to. Last summer, we were invited to a Toga party in La Jolla, CA. I have never been in a house like this and was able to take advantage of the gorgeous setting to take photos. I felt like a princess! The host and hostess basically let us take over the house. They were wonderful. There were 8 couples. We all spent the night. It has 8 bedrooms! He brought in a massage therapist to massage the ladies.

I feel blessed that we live comfortably. We are certainly far from rich! Well, monetarily anyway. We are rich in the love and friendship with others. It's hard for me to conceive of having that much money. And yet, the host/hostess are very down to earth and lovely people.

Anyway, it was a blast and I hope you enjoy these photos.
