Good morning!

Hope you all are doing great! I just ran errands yesterday and it rained on me! How dare it! lol.... I bet I don't use my wipers 3x per year!

It's 45º outside this morning! I'm tired of gray, gloomy, rainy days! So, I've decided to revisit photos from Mexico. Theses were taken in the fall of 2014 just 9 weeks after my tummy tuck!

The guy sitting next to the boat had no idea I was there. He was taking photos of jet skiers. He was waiting for the next group to go by and was sitting in the only shade around. We happened to be walking by and quietly walked up there and MrSB took these.

That boat has been there for years and every trip to that resort, we'd take photos by the boat. It's interesting how the beach has changed around it over 7 years.

You can walk for 45 minutes along the beach to the next resort and the beach is usually empty. We might pass couples every once in a while. There is an abandoned mansion under construction that work was stopped years ago. Not sure of the real reason and have been given many versions of the stories. One is that he violated protected mangroves without proper permits. You can see a bit of it behind me in one of the photos.

There was a for sale sign on it one year that said 14623 m2. That's 157,422 sg. ft. I'm telling you it's huge! There are 6 domed concrete guest houses around the pool. There are 2 ways to get to pool from upper part of the house: stairs and elevator!

There is a guard that lives there even though it's not finished. We tried to talk to him once but he spoke no English. So we'd smile, wave and say "hola" as we walked by if he was around. I didn't see him one day in 2015 and so we did some nude photos. Then we saw him sitting under a palm tree watching. Hopefully we put a smile on his face!

I can understand the desire to be somewhere less gloomy and grey

icy cold dreary day here in the northeast

so much rather be on an island with Caribbean waters and a tropical drink in my hand
