Shout it out loud: fast approval times

My last two days points is 48ish hours for a silly 26k incest romp and less than a day for my 15k VD group sex story.

So, fast and smooth. Can recommend being me.

Submitted my 36.6k VDay story at 11:45 PM EST on the sixth, had it approved by midmorning on the 7th with a go-live on the 8th. Submitted a 750 midmorning EST on the 8th, it was approved this morning with a go-live on the 10th.

It took about a day for the first part of my sci-fi novel The Cliff to get approved and another day to show up. All four parts got approval and appear on consecutive days (second one went up to today).

I did a major edit on Snow Fall In Love (as a learning exercise for me, but it's now much better). The edit took 11 days to get approved and two days to actually show up, which it did today.

It took a couple of days to pull down my other recent novel to change cetegories.

All in all, things went very smoothly.

I actually loved it to begin with. What was the edit? Worth reading again?

Thank you! I liked the story, but I was always frustrated with the second chapter when they trek towards the house initially. I couldn't get that tone right; it was beyond my reach as a writer at that point. With help from @StillStunned , that chapter is rewritten.

Overall, the biggest change was to the two chapters where they are out in the blizzard. I think the writing is much more evocative now. Beyond that, it's just a lot of cleanup, improving the writing, making Jenny a little more approachable.

Contest entries get priority treatment, but I submitted my 11.3K word Valentine's Day story on midnight on Friday (actually 12:16am) and it was approved and queued by the time I woke up 6 AM Saturday.

Fastest approval ever, contest entry or not.
