Anyone who has the balls to post a story on an open forum like Literotica, deserves a pat on the back... not ridicule or abuse. I have been told that I have writing talent. I have even been published, but I don't have the guts to post a story on Literotica. All of my writing so far has been 'mainstream', and fairly successful, but when it comes to erotica I am a bundle of nerves. I've written 4 stories... then come time to post them, have tucked my tail between my legs and bolted.
All you authors deserve big kudos. You have a skill I wish I could have. If it's thriller genre fiction, I rock. If I need an erotica fix... I look to you folk.
Please don't let the cowards who hide behind the white sheet of annonymity put you off.

I encourage you to go ahead and submit one of your erotic stories. I have talked to several people who finally did, and they all were thrilled by the responses. Of course you will probably hear from some person who criticizes you work, but nobody likes everything. It is only disappointing when some egghead says your stuff sucks and won't tell you exactly what they didn't like. If you have had work published before you understand how demanding and sometimes frustrating it can be to work with editors. Well, think of the readers here as editors, only this time YOU get the final cut.
