I slipped into the love song thread happy to see the juke box I had ordered had arrived.

Giggling and already a little tipsy I struggled with the bottles of champagne, glasses and a huge bucket of ice. This was becoming a bit of a yearly tradition and I had dressed for the occasion. Barefoot and wearing a floaty dress which swirled around my slim hips and slender ankles when I twirled.

It was a made for dancing dress.

Her/my * giggles* long wavy hair was loose and her feet were bare.

I was a figment of my imagination and was delighted that it was so...

Pouring myself a glass I made a toast. "To the invisible me...may she simply disapear in the new year." I smiled and wiggled my nose as the bubbles tickled, the champagne was delicious.

Leaning on the jukebox I was delighted to find that every song ever posted in my thread has been added to the play list.

Eyes thoughtful as I sipped my drink as I began to choose my first selection...

This of course had to be my first choice.

Swaying, seductively with slow sultry movements, I began to dance.

Soon I was lost in the music and my memories.

When the dancer became the dance there can be nothing else.

Even my champagne was forgotton...

I had slipped out of the China Pearl in search of solace and found myself here in an old love song thread. I headed to the antique juke box and carefully, lovingly wiped away the layer of dust that had gathered in my absence.

Tonight my choice was easy the numbers almost pressing themselves before my slender fingers even hit the keys.

I sat down on a small love seet and popped open the champagne filling the fluted glass carefully taking my first tentative sip as the first strains of the evocotive music surrounded me .

CG was correct champagne should never be drank alone. I wasn't alone, I was here with my beloved memories.

This had been my journey.

I had been reborn, I could fly free...
