You can tell what I write from two stories out of 260. Somehow I knew that's how quick you'd be to (pre)judge. I do write some stroke stories--I write all across the board in types of stories and preferences for stories.

A. It was Lady C who made the thread so--I believe I was making valid points on the discussion before that.

B. It had stopped 6 hours before you decided to drop in. If you wanted to return to the discussion, you could have posted to the discussion yourself--and I would have happily returned to any substantive discussion that was going.

I'm just trying to be a better editor, not incite a riot. And if you haven't noticed there's been an increase (as far as I know anyway) of Virgin editors who are looking for help and direction. Since we have no "test" so to speak it's up to the more experienced editors to share ideas, knowledge, and techniques.

I'm just trying to stimulate helpful interaction, not a fight.
