I finally got my telescope set up, just in time for more rain. It isn’t anything fancy - Maybe the model you’d buy for kids who actually knew how to use a telescope. But, you have to start somewhere! As soon as clear skies and clear schedules align, I hope to get to play with, and eventually photograph, the stars.
I’m starting to look at this as a little journal, so I hope you don’t mind if I add on and keep the madness going.

I gave up on a telescope. Borrowed my sons before buying one, and there is too much artificial light around here to see the night sky clearly. Even the moon and Saturn which were just visible to the naked eye didn’t show up much clearer under magnification.

A lovely pair of shots. I like lace and strangely enough, I have a thing for capes (the major fashion trend I wish would return for men and women!).

Good luck with the telescope, astrophotography is an addictive (and potentially expensive) hobby, but it's well worth the investment of time and resources.

I had a telescope as a kid and loved seeing the stars and moon and the bird perched on top of the tree in the distance. Felt like I was entering new worlds every time I looked through it. I still love looking at the stars every night when I take the dog out now. Have fun!
