I like the belt because it's effective and available at all times. I would make sure my partner knew I was going to use it beforehand though. I have to say, it's not as painful as the tawse. That thing is scary.

Oh GOD I just had a tawse used on me for the first time a week ago. I started positively yowling it hurt so much...It was a real rush, though.

And as far as floggers go...I have a braided bullhide flogger that feels like you're getting punched in the back, and it is LOVELY.
