Fascinating story of 4 Advanced Sommeliers who are testing to be Master Sommeliers. Definitely worth the time to watch. I had no idea what it took to get to that level.

I have a friend who did the first year of sommelier training just to learn a whole lot about wine. It was grueling but great fun, as I understand it.

I took a French Sommelier course in the 1970's, by mail. Still have the certificate someplace.

(sorta wish the samples weren't freeze-dried packets, but you took what you could get in Kansas those days)
