I've forwarded all your ideas to him and he is loving them so far. A great variety too, which it a plus since she loves so many different types of music. Keep em coming. I think he wants to make more than one CD by sorting them out by style and such and make kind of like a sensual gift basket. Of course, he doesn't know what else to put in the basket so I'm helping him with that too. At least he's man enough to admit it and is coming to a women to help him. Gotta love him for that.

Well I've never given it much thougt as music was always used to hide the noise from roommates. But here goes.

Type O negative has some good stuff. This will appeal to the goth and metal lover.
Enigma has some interesting ideas attached. At one time I was at a friends house and I put in an Enigma CD. Friends gf walked in and explained in her charming fashion that Enigma was not to be played in her presence as her "damned prick of a bf insists on listening to it every time they had sex" another friend uses it to frustrate a second friend. The first friend had just come back on leave and ran into one of the hottest girls from school. She took him back to her apartment and did a naughty little dance and some other stuff.
For romance there is Eric Claptons "You look wonderful tonight" the only song I could dance to. There is an accapella version as well that is good.
Virtualy any band with big hair from the 80s can set the mood. Although cherry pie was a favorite as the cover instilled one of my fetishes. She's only 17 may break literotica rules, and me and my friends have rewritten it as "She's only eleventeen" to describe the growing number young girls who think that Brittney Spears is a good guide for conservitive dress.
A lot of clasical music is nice, what with the pounding rythmic beat, and Moonligh sonata is always a hit with me.

maybe it's just me.. or maybe i just haven't found the right music.. but songs don't really do anything for me.

I think the reason that certain songs effect certain people these ways is because of association. When you hear these songs, do they bring up memories? sub-consciously or consciously? Are you actually listening to the beat or to the words? Is it emotional or physical?
