Space for Whatchamacallits

I'm starting to get worried. I have an idea for a story and I was having a swine of a time starting it - Anyway an idea popped into my head and I got about 700 words introducing the protagonists to the reader and each other. It was quite rough and as i was writing it i could see things that would need to be fixed. Anyway, I asked a girl whose story I'd edited to give me an opinion and she hasn't got back to me. Common sense says she's busy, but my shoulder demon is telling me she hasn't worked up the courage yet to tell me that it totally blows.

Anyway, I'm off to do some retail therapy :)

If you ever need an eye cast over stuff, you can always post to me!

If I can get my mind out of neutral then I may well take you up on that :)

I don't know how you roleplaying types do things, but I did promise myself that if I couldn't get my arse into gear with this particular story, then I'd offer up the synopsis as roleplay fodder. Would that work do you think?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Roleplayers can make anything work. Well, good ones can.

I don't know. But I need chocolate. And I need it now. I have the worst craving for it and if I don't get it I might get all stroppy and throw a temper tantrum and just be whiiiiiiiiiiiiiining constantly...

No one is bringing me chocolate!!!

This is a MAJOR oversight.

And TechnoGeek just called me "hormonal".

Oh my god....

sobs with chocolatey happiness

Thank you guys...

Brit ... kisses

Scuttle ... Those are cocoa beans and they haven't been made into regular chocolate yet! no kisses for you

Scuttle: I had the privilege to watch Mr B perform at one of my friends' 40th birthday. :) Great fun was had by all.

'Tis a sad thing for anyone to be chocolate-less. I do what I can to rectify these travesties.
