Wow! The first time was a real shock! They spit right in my mouth and made me swallow it. i protested slightly when they reminded me of other liquids i swallowed on a regular basis. That sure put me in my place! (and i'm happy to be here!)

I know I am posting to this late but what the heck..... I read the response by ladypheonix and everyone else. I have two replies to direct towards ladypheonix and a general comment.
1. I support your stance on this topic. You feel that it is disgusting and deplorable. That is fine. That is your opinion and you have a right to it. If you do not agree with it or even want to think about it, then don't. Is it disgusting and degrading? Possibly. But that decesion shoudl be lef tup to the individuals who partake in it.
2. You mention about talking about the lifestyle. What exactly do you consider the lifestyle? This lifestyle is not for the weak. Nor is the lifestyle narrowly focused. There are many facets to it. The lifestyle means different things to different people. Some people are just into the play aspect, some are into it deeper. Some are into it 24/7, some think they are 24/7. You say that your dynamic is an intelligent and thinking one? How does that differ from anyone elses dynamic? Perhaps some people think that YOUR relationship is not so intelligent.
What I find most enlightening abotu this whole lifestyle is that broad range of people and interest that you can encounter. I just love to hear people say that they would never do something only to end up doing it later on down the road. We are involved in a local BDSM group. We socialize, have munches, parties, etc. During parties, there are few rules (not counting the general protocol stuff regarding property and items) and they are simple. The rules go something like this:
1. We are all adults, act like it.
2. You will never be forced to do anything that you do not want to do.
3. If you see something that you do not like, walk away.
So in closing, everyone has a different outlook on things. with everyones else's opinions of beliefs. But others have the right not to be subject to anyone else's narrow focus on what is right and wrong. There is no rule book to living this lifestyle wether you are in it 24/7 or not. It occurs to me that spitting - in the sense of expectoration involving saliva & phlegm - is really just a subspecies of wafting substances from one person's mouth to another 's face (or other crucial, erotically charged focal point).
