Right. I forgot to add that last part in too. I said a similar thing earlier in this thread that maybe my Dad status is working against me and that I'd be better of just lying by posting as someone I'm not. But I believe honesty is far sexier than the fantasy world.

well I have to barge in on this conversation to say HUH?!

I don't think age is a deterrent... I'm aware of men in their 20's, 30's, 40's, 60's whose photos are appreciated here. Lit is slower in the summer, and it takes time for a thread to attract a following... And in my experience, followings come and they go away again. I advise patience...

I find Litsters to be generous in their approval and encouragement. Do give it time.

I can only speak for myself here, but Dad status is a plus for me. I like looks into real life. I love knowing the ages of your little ones and witnessing your playfulness. As someone whose active parenting days are well past, I enjoy a window into that world again.

Well, I do show better in person. Because of my stay at home duties and working part time, I'm also in the worst shape of my life. In the past I've been a high school cross country coach, middle school basketball coach and still play basketball once a week. In a perfect world, I'd be running at least 4 or 5 times a week and playing basketball 3 times a week.

Until then, I hope you can all enjoy Fat Mr. Browneyez for the time being!

Thanks Biguy! I like to think relative to a lot of guys out there, I'm not too far gone. But it'll be fun when I start running again and everyone can see the results. I've had many miles logged over the course of my life on the road and on the basketball court and my legs still feel great. Might not be until next spring, but just you wait!
