This one phrase stuck out for me. i'm sorry, but if you (general populace) have a problem with how one looks at another, the human field of view registers on average approximately 200 degrees of a circle. Of that, only about a 90 degree arc sees detail, and of that only 30 degrees registers smiles, googoo eyes, kissy lips, whatever one would call sugar looks. If you have a problem seeing such things, turn your fat head in another direction, or better yet, pay attention to the person you're with instead of staring at a couple ... ooo, will he say it? ... in love.

LOL, well you hit the nail on the head AA. I have been told more than once I or we should disguise how we feel about each other at least a little to prevent those who do not have such a relationship from feeling hurt or jealous. Sheeesh, I figure if at 46yo I can't enjoy finally finding the magic after a lot of extremely bad life experiences, when am I entitled? And wil those same people disguise it if they ever find it themselves? I actually liked to see people in love when I was alone and wishing it were me....figured it was better than being around a lot of negative people complaining about what they didn't have.

Yes, I think that works. It's okay to have a partner you love, and to display that love, provided you are dressed like Quasimodo and wearing face masks. :p

If it were up to them, never. i have a weathervane's attitude about PDA. Sometimes i smile, other times, "Get a room, already," but i don't think i've ever been hypocritical enough to comment on how someone looked at their lover.
