Well, I think I'll go build a couple cars before bed time.

Saturday night... are you all a party? Seeking out the bright lights and music all dressed in your finest and wearing your dancing shoes?

Are you having a party with your buddy tonight? The friend that helped you with your lawn, and washed your clothes today? Are you opening doors for her, holding her chair, and treating her like a queen, like a sex godess, tonight?

Have fun everybody... :D

:rose:

Lmao...how's this for a Saturday night....It's almost 9 and we are both dragging our butts tryin to hang in there till 9:30 or 10 before we hit the sack...Up and down the basement stairs a zillion times today...then shopping for new bedding to go with the new bed...then off to have dinner with friends...now back home and I really need to get a pair of pants hemmed for work tomorrow...I have had all week to get it done...but I keep putting it off...still keep putting it off..saying ok in ten minutes I'll get it done and before you know it a half hour has passed.
I wish they sold womans pants like they do mens where you can buy them the length you need.Instead I buy the short length and still have to shorten them another inch...I swear in my next life I'm asking for long legs and a booty butt!!

I know of those salads - I make them all the time. Say, a couple handsful of lettuce from one of those bags that has five different lettuces in it, now let's see, cool! Olives - cut 'em up? naw, just spoon a bunch in there, and some of the brine. ooo, and swiss cheese, and eh... never mind, I think I'll throw this away.

Oh, and quick - poor a handful of frozen peas into a glass of war water, and cut up a chunk of salami here, and crumble about a half dozen Ritz crackers, a few green onions and a couple radishes. Good, we're out of tomatoes - I don't like cuttin' them up - so messy. Oh, yeah! A couple pickled banana peppers all sliced up is good - maybe a little more Salami - I wish we had some pepperoni.

I almost forgot - dump the water out of the glass and dump the peas in the salad. There...

That's it. Nowg et the Wishbone Italian out and... wait just a sec. Lemme look here in the pantry, somewhere... maybe back here... yeah there it is. Hot damn - we got us a can of them itty bitty shrimps. I gonna open this sucker up and dump it in there too. Now, get the dressing.

Like that? Is that how a kitchen sink salad turns out in the South?

:) $

I tend to put a lot more veggies as opposed to meat but yes my friend, that's it, lol. How I would love to be in a kichen with you. You sound like my kinda cook, lol. ;)

Ah, the sad song of a Grade A procrastinator. I know the song well, (hmmm, I should set it to music?) :D Hang in there kid, you are close to going to work with safty pins and good steam ironing substituting for hemming - that will get you the Procrasinator's Merit Badge. Now if you just hitch 'em up and go with them as is? That will get you the badge with a star for "Meritorious lack of action in the face of the Deadline".

This is quite an honor from a procrastinator's perspective. Now, there is the "Absolute Loser's Medal of Honor", with the three star addendum, but we really don't want to discuss what it takes to win that.

"The way they sell Men's pants" won't help you a bit, Punkin. That inseam and waist measurement varies from pair to pair on the same rack. And I would dearly love to know from where them people measured to come up with a 30" inseam...

Then there is the fact that they are set up to fit maybe 4 body types. Like in my case, you don't want to go holding your breath until you run across a pair of 32x28 Wranglers... 32x30 is about as close as they ever get.

No, men's pants are nothing but a series of compromises - the method will not help you. Check out the way the better brands of men's are sold... just like them women's - you have to get them tailored.

Now, I have a question... Your First Day on the new Job is on a Sunday? What in the hell is that?

:) :rose:

LOL - then you don't want to hear about my pulled pork and Cajun coleslaw sam-mich, you're panties would get quite soggy at the mere telling, and if you were to actually be in the kitchen during the event, why... you'd probably flop over onto your back, feet extended straight in the air, squealing and twitching in orgasmic bliss...

Really...

:) :rose:

Good morning everybody... :)

Coffee's on.

I would that I had some wild story with which I could entertain you, but alas... hey, I have an idea. You tell me a story this morning...

Morning Blooze,

I could sure use a cup.. I haven't drunk that much beer since......I don't think I've ever drank that much beer....not sure...some of the little gray cells still have a "do not disturb" sign on their motel room door.

It was good to see you out and about yesterday. If push come to shove you could always make a scratiching post...I know there's a way...although right now I'm reading directions on how to get the lid off the asprin bottle

good MORNING El!

~~ Rats!! Failed again... ~~

So a kegger at the lake with a bunch of bikers is a bit more than your extended years can handle anymore? :D

I could make one, but I have tried to limit my shop time over the last few years - :D - call it what you will (i.e., like work, chores, or any of those other related disgusting words.) At any rate I bought the one I have for Audrey just a few months ago, they surely have not sold out Nationwide by now?!

Is your lady in a similar state??

Me too...we surely needed a desingated driver....and though the music might have not been to your taste, the atmosphere was great... "Starship" (which I take it is the remenants of Jefferson Airplane) was on supposed to be on late in the evening after Molly Hatchet finished up their set...but we didn't stay...figured all the hotel and motel rooms were full...and they may have got a little upset with us sleeping on top the bar. Sorry for the long interlude betwen posts... I wirte the reply and spend the next 10 minutes trying to correct spelling and missing words...wher is the "hangover" smilie when you need one

I talked to my previous coworker yesterday...they still haven't found a replacement for me....the manager and the district manager are at odds on how the store should be run...the more things change the more they stay the same.

Today should be interesting...once a month everything in the store gets moved and today is that day..it's always stressful and crazy.

Speaking of furniture....the new bed is WONDERFUL....the TV.. well a 42" plasma TV looks a WHOLE LOT bigger in the livingroom then it did in the store but it's coollllllllllllllllllllllllll....and the reclining loveseat has to be returned..when we unpacked it we found out that the one arm is defective.

We got our butts kicked this week..it has been busy busy days making changes and adjustments to the house.

This really isn't a beer comercial...and I had to use the "auto compress" in the editor...so it isn't very large. Later when my head gets back to normal shape... I will try to get some of the pics edited. I think these may have been our first round...just kicking back on the veranda, catching some rays, and taking a break. It was supposed to be a picture of the stage...while they were setting up..(the concert didn't start till 8pm)...but the auto-focus on my camera felt differently.
