Of course. I was not saying all men. Just most men that I have tried RP with jump the gun and can't build a stimulating story.

It’s a difficult thing to negotiate, I’ve had women jump out of rp because I wasn’t getting to the point fast enough. I don’t need to write 17 pages of back story, but I do like to build characters and situations a little before sex acts erupt.

I think RP partners should always chat for a while and get to know each others hot buttons and off buttons. Most guys rush sex in cyber space and in real life. Slow down. The journey can be as great as the arrival if you let it.

And both RP partners need to be prepared to give equal input and actually put some effort into it. Too often the process becomes one-sided because one of the partners is unwilling to invest in making it worth the other’s time.
