Teach me how to draw.

hi...you have to consider what is under the skin, skelenton muscles etc. also it helps to firstly simplify the figure into basic shapes, not squares and triangles but 3d shapes to make the figures look 3d. if you have more time draw a line through the center of the figure and one either side of the outside points, eg a line that runs verticly from the elbow...if you also draw a line through the middle u can use it as a basic box and using your pencil measure in the shape and sizeof the forms in regards to the lines you have already made (hope that makes sense!). for shading try a good quality 3b and 9b pencil and just play around, but always be aware of where your light source is coming from....

also see if there is a life drawing class near you, we have them twice a week at my college and the practice really helps x
