TENS - Whats Your experience?

Ive used a Tens unit and a Pros box. I liked the pros box it was more like the VWand. The tens unit hurts me, mainly because of the nerve damage I have in my arm.. Its something Ive been playing with.

My master loves it, and our slave loves it too! She has total orgasms with it.

Hope that helps.

It all depends on how you feel. Try it on your arm, and if its not to uncomfortable keep moving downward home!

I used to use one for a bad back, now I have a pacemaker you cannot use one other than that it won,t hurt your heart I believe
I would only recomend using the double pole TENS for nipples or other areas where the heart is close by. If a single pole TENS is used from nipple to nipple, the current passes through the heart and that is a bad thing. With a single pole TENS the current flows from clip to clip. But, anything below the waist would be fine, such as pussy lips or pussy shield or anal probe, etc.

The double pole TENS has both poles within one clip. Most double pole TENS are actually two single pole TENS in one machine. Where a single pole TENS would have two clips making one connection, a double pole has two clips, but each has one connection within. So, when you clip one on a nipple, the current only flows from one side of the clip to the other (about 1/4 to 1/3 inch or so) so it won't pass through the heart. And, because there are two clips, you can stimulate both nipples.

Also, clips are optional, so you can also get the patches. They don't last for ever, so you would need to keep some on hand, and get more, from time to time.

The attachments all have positive and negative posts so you can attach to the posts with the clips, quick and dirty. Some of the fancy attachments have a plug type connection, kind of like a mini plug for headphones. If you purchase something, be sure you know what type of connection you need to make it work.

It's never fun to wake up Christmas morning and not have the necessary connectors. It's kind of like batteries. You aren't going to find something open on Christmas morning to accomidate your needs.

The more advanced TENS will have modulating pulses and different waves and things like that. They can be very expensive, but can also be very interesting on how they feel. Getting two different waves to modulate together can cause some nice wave effects. Those have hills and valleys (just a term used to explain highs and lows of current intensity, etc.) that can drive you wild with sensations.

Yes, those more advanced TENS might have an output of AC, so they can give you the desired modulations. But for safety, I'd not get one that runs off of house current. The 9 volt battery kind is best, and they cam still give you quite a jolt, trust me.

Down the road, if you want to advance your pleasure and save batteries, you can get one of the more advanced systems that plug into the wall. But, I'd wait for one of those, because, although they may have some interesting features, they limit you to being around an electrical connection. You can't to out to the park, or to the beach or other non electrical places. You know? I like to be MOBILE!

Or if you're going to save up, get a made-for-play box. Some of them have internal lead acid batteries that last for several hours while not plugged into the wall outlet, depending on how heavy you're using it.

Bump

I have just acquired one of these with pain relief and pleasure in mind wonder if there are others with more recent experience than that in this thread.

also try searching on estim in xtube, very interesting

I have experienced surface as well as deep anal probing with a "Rimba" and let me tel you we played that unit until it burned out. I mean literally burned the sucker out. I had nicknamed it "dialamoan" and miss the rather shocking experiences. Such a greedy girl I am...no?

I use a unit every day for about a hour and a half, more if I feel I need it. It's for my neck and back therapy. I have yet to try it other places though I've certainly thought about it. If I had a cheap and ready supply of electrodes I might try it sooner. As it is, I'm doing the slow consideration. I do use it above my heart on the back of my neck and spine.

Furry are electrode pads expensive ? Not here though i don't use many. maybe you can get them cheaper on the net and try some more exciting locations. Do you find a lot of pain relief from tens?

Blushing you have just got to refrain from being so greedy and also save up for a new one. I want a e 312 for fun stuff but use an etens 120 for pain relief. works ok but is not huge FUN. the type that are used for pleasure have a lot of control over the shape of the pulses.

When you go through at least two sets of four a month, yes I call that expensive. I hate any monthly expenses particularly when they are for me. I'm frugal with myself though not with my loved ones.

I find that I do feel some pain relief from tens and from traction. I've not been to the chiro since before the fourth of july! This is the longest I've gone since this whole nasty business started. Though I still resent the time (one and one half to two hours every damn night!) investment in me, I'm delighted I can manage this as home an I hope it continues for a looooong time.

I don't think I need a new machine at this time.

Hope this answers your questions. It's hard for me to tell just what you are writing at times.

I treated myself to a tens machine with probe and i have to say its quite a delight to use! In fact its been a little while and this thread has got me thinking about it..

All i would say on safety is that its better to have a play yourself first and work out where your limits are with the settings before you hand over the controls to someone you trust. That and enjoy!!!!

*goes off to snuffle about in bedside drawers*

Electrical play has never interested me but I have tried a TENS machine once.

He put it on my hand to let me get a sense of how it felt.

When he put it on my clit I was bored.

The sensation was that of a buzzing fly, it was not erotic or a turn on, just annoying.

Not sure I would want to explore further, maybe I am being obtuse, but it did nothing for me.

A buzzing fly? I'd hate that too! I like thumping! Not buzzing.

Sorry for the terrible typing and typos

I guess several sets every month would get expensive. I only use it lightly and get good relief. Patches seem to last very well Mine is very portable, can be clipped onto a belt and worn at work or play so it does not tie me down. I am glad though that it gives you good relief also.
