Well I went to dinner with a friend and ate dinner. I traded out high calorie side and app for desert. But 8 have to say I don't need any more sweets.... it was good but i could have done better. ..lesson learned. Back at it tomorrow!!

Non food reward may be an outfit. I need to buy some pants. !!

Went to a German restaurant called Schmidt's and had a most delicious Bahama Mama sausage and some green beans. It was supposed to be green beans and s p e t z l e, but they're literally was two of them. Not too bad but definitely went over calories.

With all the hard work you've done, and all the progress that you've made every once in awhile it's okay to cheat. That's what makes it worth it.

I agree. I've been told many times over the years to pick one meal a week as your "free meal". It's the splurge or reward or relaxing of the rules that helps keep folks on track. It's manageable and doesn't undo all the good work every meal the rest of the week.
And now you have a better idea of what you would prefer to choose for next time.
Congratulations on an amazing milestone and a fantastic meal.

Spent the evening helping the oldest solve a college math problem. No a real life problem. Kid, myself, and the wife independently got the same answer. The online worksheets says it was wrong!

It is not wrong. I wrote out my solution, signed it, and gave it to the kid to show to the instructor. I'm waiting to see what evolves out of that...
