You should stop in more often, Dude!
both ? I have had 2 cups of coffee so I am ready to taxi.Wait...are you actually talking about a dog or yourself?
Yeah, I was up at four instead of my usual five. For me it’s definitely the time change.Been laying awake in bed for the last 1.5 hours. Why, why can't I sleep in anymore?
Guess I'll put 6-7 miles in... sigh...
We truly do talk about everything here...hahahaOk so I have not visited this thread in a long time and I just randomly clicked on it as I woke up and can’t fall back to sleep! so my comment on the colonoscopy prep….isn’t it an easy way to lose 5 lbs overnight? at least that’s one positive?
It was awfulIs this the newest one? The one I had was about 2 cups of bitter liquid. I took sips followed by some lime popsicle.
Haha...morningGood morning poopshoot cleaners!! I hope everyone has a great Wednesday !
I hope everything goes well Missk!
Yep!Yeah, I was up at four instead of my usual five. For me it’s definitely the time change.
sorry, bud…
But you’re putting it to good use. I am up and doing my eliptical.
At work we only have ppo....so not sure i can answer this question....Healthcare Question?
HMO or PPO
Which is better in everyone's opinions.
Winner gets a free turkey...
Hey! I'm always nice. (I'm allowed to be nice and smile at the same time...)You be nice...!!!
I just changed from HMO to PPO, I was just curious...At work we only have ppo....so not sure i can answer this question....
As long as you have providers near by, it should be good.I just changed from HMO to PPO, I was just curious...
Maximum respect.
I’ve got all day for warrant officers. Chiefs, we’re always the shit. Always super respected!
WOs are always technical experts. Respected more than any other maintenance person. The Chief warrant officer of the battalion motor pool was ALWAYS a person that you cowered in fear of. Do not ever cross or take their role lightly.
I learned this by turning in the dreaded DA form 2404 after I broke track as a very young and naive private. I turned it into the motor pool under line item 1: general condition of vehicle.
I wrote in “right side of vehicle destroyed.” It absolutely ripped the shit fender, tore up one of the sponson boxes and dinged up the track skirts.
Besides having to fix broken track (which is the WORST fucking job a tanker can ever do…) I had to have a word with the Chief (CWO4) and he tore me a new asshole.
I will never forget the full technical name. “Tank, combat, fully, tracked, M1A2 SEP3.” I can’t believe I remember this shit. But don’t know my mom’s phone number.
While technically true, Chief did not take kindly to me being so flippant on my DA2404 and thought I should “take the form more fucking seriously.” Never made that mistake again!!
Fun times, Chief HDH!!
Maximum respect!
The Chief’s, or Walking Warrants as we rotorheads called them, commanded a ton of respect. We all went through WOCS with them and they helped shape and guide us noobs who were basically HS to Flight School into what the real Army was all about. Your Chief sounds like a ball buster but I bet he ran a tight shop! Just to piggyback on the track throwing…one of our Lt’s was a track commander then got an appointment to West Point. He told us about a M1 that threw a track in a river in Korea…was bogged down for days. Wonder if it’s the same guy?Great minds think alike!
Just mentioned breaking track. Which is may worse than throwing track. (Never did the latter, but sure did the former once). I’ve heard stories from a friend of mine breaking track in a riverbed in Korea in the dead of winter.
Bradley’s were fun, but we always had a friendly rivalry w cav scouts and 19Ds. We considered them our little sneaky brothers. They considered us as Neanderthals. But when the chips were down, we worked like finely tuned hunter killer teams.
I’m assuming you were a rotary wing pilot. I NEVER got to ride in a chopper.
Wishing you the best possible and expeditious colonoscopy. I had mine three yrs ago..they found 5 or so polyps, so I’m on the three yr plan…they just called for me to make my appointment. It’s been three yrs already!? Ugh…Nope ...I just got up to do guess what.... and I am npo and my stomach is growling
Anyone else spot the typo?Pillows, Likes! Lots and LOTS of pillows! My husband used to complain that between me, my 1001 pillows, and the dog, he didn't have enough room in the bed. I thought there was plenty of room!
We only had one choice: eat it, you little son of a bitch.
Off . . . .
Ever so glad I played "Let's Make a Deal" with my mom when I was 10. So long as she didn't have to pick up so much as a dirty fork from me, I was allowed to make my own meal if I didn't like what was for dinner. This is where I learned most of my cooking. It was a very frequent occurrence. Not always a full meal, but I've never had the carnivore tendencies of my family. Prior to that arrangement, that was the rule at our house, too.Same.
I said a little prayer to apologize to every patient that i gave this shit too and encouraged to drink.... i deserve a punch in the nose
@Wonderer67 beat me to it. It's your job and important. Everyone knows the prep sucks, but without a good prep it's a challenge to get a good scan... and it's important for them to be able to find and eliminate any/all polyps, etc. That's one way you give cancer theNo you don’t deserve that k.
You were doing your job to the best of your ability. I hope your day goes quickly and you can enjoy some food and some rest when all done.
Did read later about the other group - so glad you have them. Also, I agree w/ W again. Sucks that a bad apple ruins something that could otherwise be so wonderful.About online friends especially here, we all know the rules, abide by them, and are supportive! I recently experienced the opposite with a group of widows and widowers where one felt they always had to spout politics. Our purpose was to support each other through our journey. I have left that group after voicing my concerns and said person continued her diatribe.
Been laying awake in bed for the last 1.5 hours. Why, why can't I sleep in anymore?
Guess I'll put 6-7 miles in... sigh...
I was expecting to sleep in a bit this week. If I was working I would have been half an hour late. Doesn't feel quite like "sleeping in" territory yet though.Yeah, I was up at four instead of my usual five. For me it’s definitely the time change.
sorry, bud…
But you’re putting it to good use. I am up and doing my eliptical.
Strike that, reverse it.At work we only have ppo....so not sure i can answer this question....
Oh! That poor, poor kitty!!!
Had a similar response when I asked a representative one year if anyone realized that the provider for my HMO had no one, single clinic rated as a Level 1 (lowest cost level) for the 2nd largest county in the entire state? As long as you have providers near by, it should be good.
Wife is battling insurance over specialized PT. The agent got all short with her about not choosing someone in the PPO. So, my wife politely yelled back, so tell me where the nearest provider is that is in our PPO. The agent looked it up, and replied with a soft "Oh...".
HDH - I had my first early and on the 5 year plan due to family health history. The year they found a polyp put me on the annual plan until they got a clean one. Then back to the 5. My next is in @ 11 months. As much as the prep sucks, I'd still rather do that on the regular than the alternative. Doesn't make the prep any better but...Wishing you the best possible and expeditious colonoscopy. I had mine three yrs ago..they found 5 or so polyps, so I’m on the three yr plan…they just called for me to make my appointment. It’s been three yrs already!? Ugh…
I’ll be joining the foul tasting paste, jello eating, throne resting regimen after Thanksgiving…I do think instead of prep the night before, I’ll just get up early and start then waltz in around noonish…
Hey! I resemble that remark... and it's delicious.
Yes wishing you the best... I'm a regular at that also and true the hardest part is the prep but i do enjoy the propefol.Nope ...I just got up to do guess what.... and I am npo and my stomach is growling
