That sounds wild. First one I got, the doc asked me that too. I hardly remember anything.Fentanyl and versed and i remember watching the procedure.....I could see him moving through my guts...it was sort of cool.... one part hurt a bit. Felt pressure. 4 polyps 1 sort of big one on the stem...all to the lab to test them.... been passing gas and has been wonderful.... the first swig of diet pepsi was magic
Hope you're feeling better hun. This chief was tough but fair. I learned a valuable lesson. It was ultimately HIS tank. We just signed the thing out of the motor pool and operated it.Your Chief sounds like a ball buster but I bet he ran a tight shop!
This sounds like a legend. I wonder if true!? The guy who told me about it is someone I work with. He went to West Point and was an artilleryman and logs guy. I’ll ask him tomrrow.Just to piggyback on the track throwing…one of our Lt’s was a track commander then got an appointment to West Point. He told us about a M1 that threw a track in a river in Korea…was bogged down for days. Wonder if it’s the same guy?
Everyone hates cav scouts! Infantry hates them (there was no 19D MOS till the early 80s - before that the cav was 11B I think.) Tankers have a rivalry with them too. And so does the air cav. Probably everyone else.Yes, I was RW, Air Cav. Trained on UH-1H’s then transitioned to AH-1F’s, and MCN’s (Modernized C-Nights) in Korea (the only place they had them) it was a Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) that allowed us to C in the night…finished as a FW bubba. Much like your rivalry with M1’s and BFV’s, we had that same rivalry between the Ground and Air Cav! We always had sporting events pitting us against them (never lost in basketball!) and other things. Then we had the same between in our squadrons between the Attack guys (think heavy full rocket pods and full compliment of ToW missiles) and us pure Cav guys (7 shot Rocket pods and only 4 Tow’s). We were the Sneeky Peet’s for sure!
Hunter/Killer teams. We found them and made contact…you came in and cleaned them up! Good times!
I send your wake up callIf anyone wakes me early tomorrow, you will be in my list!
My dog included...
Night all.
That’s a bummer… hope you got it sorted today. So irritated. Grocery delivery scheduled for 10am. Window is 10a-12p. Driver showed about 30 min ago.
No 4-digit code.
The store's entire system is down.
No one can help b/c they don't have a low tech backup in place. Having the Order # didn't matter.
So the driver just left - with my entire order.
I don't blame him - he's just as stuck as I am.
But really? Everything is at a dead stop until your system is back up and running?
Okay - don't whining.
Tempted to just get new cold packs and take a nap.
So irritated!!
That’s not a small ammount of bacon!!
Specially one where parts are scarce!!!
Glad your back in the saddle!!Been so busy that I really haven’t caught up here. Today was an easy day really…community paperwork, gardening and cutting kindling. Then our first flytying class. Just great to be back with the kids!
Were you singing the tune? I was!
Glad your on the mend!I went all morning without my medicine. I did have to take my Tylenol at lunch though. I didn't use the patch today. Thought I would test it out. We had a fire drill so I had to get down the stairs with a quickness, so that is why I ended up taking them. I'm a little stiff and sore but not bad Thanks for asking! How are you feeling?
