This one here HfD was bought on the 5th of July of 2020. As of yesterday, it has 3186 miles on it. They check it for inspection.


Happy Wednesday!!! On cup #1. Cats have canned food. I'll fill the kibble later. No alarm on that yet as they still can't see the bottom of the bowl. That's when the bitching commences. It's a bit early. Seventy-nine degrees and 86% humidity. It's just JUly. Those poor bastards putting in the foundation will have another helluva day. Got a phone interview at 10 and another video interview when I get outta the shower and groom and look presentable. Face it, if I'm not going anywhere more than a walk, a hat does all I need.

Weather is very wet. Lots of rain and so far no floods. Some areas to the north are getting 4 or more inches.

My last taxi trip this morning until all my cataracts are taken care of in about 6 weeks.

I'm thinking about running my new resume back past the AI at a couple of places to see if my Improved Catchwording will change the results. I'm figuring it's not attuned to remembering email addies at that level.

Took the HfD to the shop for the 5th time to try to get the state vehicle safety inspection done. He was waiting for them (the fucking state, since it's their idea) to deliver via US mail the 25s for the new stickers - the expiration year. They finally showed up yesterday. They did the inspection at no cost because I had been up there several times for it. That was mighty decent of them - they sure as Hell didn't have to. Those are the kinds of things that are dying out in this no-service economy of ours, and they are the kids of things that will cause Wat to go back.

When everything seems to suck, goodness shines thru the suckiness.

Sound like damn good people who stand behind what they say and do. A rarity!!

It's always refreshing to find people who don't suck out loud. Whatever I decide to do to this engine on this bike, I'll get him to do it. He likes what he does and he's been doing it since he was a kid. Kinda like me and building shit.
