We just got rid of all our only real snow of the year a couple of days ago, but that was more ice than snow. We lucked out this year, way above averages except for Feb., where we had record lows.
I hope its clear for you this weekend, I know all of us on the east coast are ready for this strange winter to be over.
It just started raining as I pulled in, and the temps have dropped alot since then, the cold is coming back.

we weren't too bad snow wise up until last weekend 15 inches. It's almost gone. and the sun gods are shining. I have cold weather gear so I am all set. So unless it's raining Spaz is Riding...

Don't know if I told this story, but I was listening to my favorite musician at Renfaire the one time and I rolled backwards a bit and this woman let out a HUGE shreik. Apparantly I had rolled over her skirt and it had slid down and the hem had touched her behind....well she thought I had grabbed her and she spun around to see who had done that. She saw me and we figured out what happened. Instead of killing me like I thought she would she instead hugged me and said it was the most fun she had had all day and took a picture of me pushed against her chest with a big smile on my face.

Sounds like us last year, no snow until the first week of March, and then 12 inches or so. And it was all gone in three days.
Gotta love that cold gear. As long as the roads are dry and no ice, I'll ride. May not be a long ride, but I'll ride. MrsJ is really cold blooded and if its below 55, I'm solo. ( I hate the cold, but love winter riding )
In a couple of weeks, the crazy early spring weather will be over and we all be out there riding

Enjoy this weekend, and ride a couple of miles for us, looks like rain here.

No way in hell would I get up on one of those, I've seen a few guys blow engines, sportbikes and twiners. That's even more risky then the burnout contests I've seen. I've seen alot of guys ride in and wait for someone to come and load their bikes due to blown tires

The King of Cubes

Really liked the blue bike. Joe i can tell you there is nothing like building your own!! I have been doing Bikes and Cars for the last 20 years and I get alot of satisfaction out of it. Here's a pic of the next Engine I'm going to have to build the bike around it.
It's 159 cubic inchs of fire breathing power. It's going to settle the good verses Evil once and for all!
I have MS and don't get to ride as much as I want too.
I love riding down the country 2 lane with a sweety hugging me and the wind in my face. Now that's Freedom!!!

Saturday was lousy, cold, foggy, raining.
Today was great, low 60's and sunny. We got out and did our first real ride with the new Givi topcase with backpad. We did about 90 miles today, and MrsJ loves that she can lean back and relax.
Now she just has to relearn how to mount and dismount with that bag behind her. I wish I had a video of that, it was anything but graceful. And in front of several other bikers.
I'll take some pics of the case soon.

It was 26degrees when I pulled out of the garage Saturday morning about 6am to head to breakfast. It was clost to 6o degrees when I got home. There was a little black ice to contend with, BUT nothing too bad. Yesterday I woke up to a little over an inch of new white stuff. By noon it was gone and by 1 I was on the road... small ride about and hour. Now I am heading away for a week. The weather man says the snow will be gone and one day of rain to wash the roads.. I'll be riding again by Saturday

There was a little black ice to contend with, BUT nothing too bad. Yesterday I woke up to a little over an inch of new white stuff. By noon it was gone and by 1 I was on the road... small ride about and hour. Now I am heading away for a week. The weather man says the snow will be gone and one day of rain to wash the roads..
