The ride I took today was with a girlfriend and her beau...and his maiden voyage on his brand new, 2006 Soft Tail Deluxe....This is one very sweet ride...so you get to see a pic of it!

still a little too chill here for me.... too much snow on the ground and fresh piles of salted gravel everywhere.... not so long now... soon... really soon.

CB: Ol' Blue is a nice looking bike thats for sure....although that windscreen reminds me of the cop bikes lol.

I agree DJ page 3 is never a good place to be! I didn't think I would like a windshield...I had never ridden a bike with one. It does help a lot though!!!

With gals like you on the thread it is either page one or the centerfold.

I can see how it would be good for following behind a car. I know I've seen really large rocks fly off of the back of cars.....and one trucks front tire.

So far I have been lucky....although the ride Saturday had some wind that picked up dirt and spit it at us...That was not fun...!

Just don't eat any of it LOL.

Aslong as it isn't a crossbreeze you shouldn't worry too much. Those can even throw a car into another lane.

Yep...done that...I worry about wind more than anything else....Riding in a cross wind...it lets up and poof you are over the center line...thankfully no cars were coming....

ME EITHER! I don't think I would look very good like that! I am always careful, DJ... that's an important part of riding...watching out for the other guy and anything else that can hurt you!

Not sure if it is possible for you to NOT look good, but lets not try that one. We like having you in one piece.

I'm sure it is a constant vigil......alot of nutcases out these days.

Not having ridden this bike without it, I'm not sure...but everyone I've talked to that has a windshield...perfers a windshield. Yesterday I took a couple of little rocks on it...glad it wasn't my sunglasses!
