Well from the sound of it you've been doing some good work and should be aloud to "Blow your own horn"....or atleast let someone do it for you.

Hi M, great to see you hear. Those are great links, I noticed our local event, Delmarva Bike Week is there which kinda suprised me since its fairly new. But Ocean City is booked 100% for the event.

Well sponsers and venders are always up on all the happenings...LOL

Steve is getting his helmet this evening. He starts the course on Thursday. The course is Thurs. and Fri. from 5:30 - 8:30, the Sat. and Sun from 8am - 5pm. and he has to have a helmet for it.

He is taking my advice and going with a full face...That is what I have. Safer for any spills (hopefully will not need to test that one), and better to keep bugs out of the face, as well as rain, etc. We will be riding during the day and night, so he is going with a clear shield and getting either foam sunglasses or goggles (he hasn't decided). I just wear my regular sunglasses under mine but he seems to think that will not work for him

We are working on ideas for pics Should be alot of fun

We have not set a date for the ride. We will let you know when so we can meet up. Steve is looking forward to meeting you both, just as I am.

They have done so much for me that I now offer my help back to them. I've been through alot in my short life, but I've been through it and now if they have a problem they know they can come to me and vent their frustration and I'll listen to them, offer help or ideas if they want it, and always be here if they need me.(This goes for you too kid)

I've helped friends with relationship problems, defending friends against online assaults(using language my Mommy would kill me for using) and even gone so far as to be one step away from jumping on a plane for NYC to help a friend even though I had no way to get around and no idea where they were exactly.(That cleared up so they told me to stay)

It was one of the those Sit down and shut up situations. Her head was snapped back into the headrest and she couldn't say alot when I got into it.

Helmets are always a good discussion. I wear a beanie, not the safest. I also wear goggles as I can't stand stuff blown in my eyes. I also have a half helmet and a full face for those very cold days. Bugs, rocks, rain all of the above and more sure do hurt. JUST wait until a bird shits on your full face tho. One word to the wise.. DONT WIPE IT.. open the screen. Wiping it smears it

While I don't yet have a bike to be able to pay tribute to him you can be sure that I will attempt to make asmuch noise as my wheelchair can make. I'll rattle the frame, bang the spokes, and raise my voice.

My thoughts exactly, I bet the Pittsburg quarterback might be rethinking his ideas about helmets. A full face helmet would have prevented or lessoned some of his head injuries. We both ride full face helmets for that added protection. They get hot in the summer, but its worth it.

I went through the class exactly 1 year ago, and it is well worth it.
Keep us posted about the ride. We would love to met up with you and enjoy that ride. We have done the northern end several times in a car, I can't wait to do it on a bike.
