The Chefs Kitchen is Open

Happy Monday everyone.

During the COVID pandemic I’ve spent lots of time working from home which in itself has been tough, the same 4 walls each day, no new faces other than on the other side of a screen.

My one saving grace has been taking daily walks in the local countryside before and after work, things that have been on my doorstep for years that I had never appreciated before.

I’ve seen the seasons change from late spring, through summer and now what appears to be turning slowly into autumn.

The morning walks recently have started to have much more of a chill to them but they are such a refreshing way to start the day.

I thought I’d share a few images from this morning, wearing my favourite colour.

I can see that exact spot from where I am sat looking out of my office window so I guess I’m lucky.
Maybe I should up my exercise regime though and get to the gym to actually get fit

If that's what you want, if that will make you happy, then do it. Otherwise, i don't think you need to. 😘💋

For a sleepy Sunday I thought I’d post one from the archives.

It would be great to see your sleepy Sunday shots

Summer still hasn’t left us today all though I fear we are in the last knockings of summer given how late into September we are still getting temperatures of 25 degrees.

With this weather I can’t not take advantage to get a post work walk in after being indoors all day.
I must share a story of something I saw that made me laugh and it continues to make me laugh every time I see it. Why is it that people driving alone in their private cars feel the need to wear a mask? You’re not going to give Coronavirus to the invisible man? I often wonder would these people wear a condom if they were alone in bed?

Anyway I digress, a few more pictures from this green and sunny corner of England

Or when people stop two car lengths back from the car in front oh then at the light? People are strange lol.

But you really do have an enviable view. Just gorgeous! And the land looks good too. 😉

Yeah I am lucky to have such views, the weather help to be honest.

I’d have a more enviable view if I was looking over at you though

Thanks Tali

Today it really did seem as though autumn arrived with a bang!

Woken at 5.15 to a 2 hour downpour and temperatures that were 10 degrees (C) lower than yesterday.

Only managed a walk before work as after work it was throwing it down again.

A couple of more autumnal pictures today
