*Hangs head*

Well lady their were more roses but literotica told me off and wouldn't let me send my message till some were gone so I had to eated some your presents myself.:( I didn't want to eat your heart so I ate your roses instead:eek:.

lol I bet if you came visited my little paradise 'punishment' would be the last thing on your mind. But I'd soon remind you:D oh yes! If I had you here I'd be being very naughty indeed! :cattail:

:rose::rose::rose::rose:

Uggg:cool:
*Laughter* I had to cut down on the amount of quotes as well cos Lit does not like to allow me such a full buffet apparently! *cheeky eyeroll and flips the bird*

You're welcome to eat my heart... if you're into that sort of thing!

o_O *backs away slowly* xD

Was that an invitation? Cos that sounded like an invitation. Everyone heard it, so you can't take it back now!!!

I'ma coming for you! Punishment in tow!!

Got a very weak signal but have to report today went very well. Proud of our cadets. I’ll report on the results on Friday.

But Shiva, hows your little boy? Trust all went well.

We won’t be on again until Friday.

Wish everyone an amazing Valentine’s Night (Sal and I are missing out) but we’ll make up for it

Hope CG behaves!

Glad to hear that they're shaping up, not shipping out!! :D *salutes*

They'll do you proud yet!

Ah oh, she's fine xD ^__^;;; the appointment was cancelled at the last minute, but I don't think there's an actual problem anyway.

Take care and be safe, ladies! All of my love to you!

Robyn I will have you know I ALWAYS behave.

You must remember Robyn one can behave well, or one can behave badly. ;)

Oh you

What would we do without this cheekiness?

Takes a seat at the empty bar.

*Suddenly appears* How U doin??

*Offers him belated V-Day candies*

The Inn and the bar are never empty Chris. We always have a eye on you and your experiments Sir!!!!

Yes, we have to do something with Uggg's latest science machine, Chris. This will be wicked fun.

Is it bad that I am angry with the media? In Florida there was another school shooting that is horrible news. And I do feel for those who have to put the pieces of their lives back to gather with so many missing pieces.

In the not news unreported thing rant happening in Afghanistan because we don't want to know about them. Because even if it were people we know is not important because they were just soldiers and not REAL people. For over two days now it not news worthy because we are expendable. I paid to much for that treatment to continue.

I never find it a bad thing to be mad at the media. It's all a bunch of sensationalist bullshite, if you ask me! They never report on the good things, unless they go out of their way to tell you it's "feel good news" and they never report on the important things unless it's something sensationalist. Superbowl coverage for weeks in advance? Sure let's go! Reporting on the lives of soldiers dying in the wilds? Nope, no one gaf, says the media.

Well that's simply not true! I think if all news was reported, people would give more of a f because they would really know what the world is like! Not just the tings they're told to rage about or care about. This kind of stuff really pisses me off. That's why I get all my news from neutral sources (Or not, IDK sometimes about Reuters anymore).

But there is little we can do about it, dear RT. We can only seek out the truth for ourselves as much as possible and hope to teach our children to do the same so that they have a more and equal society, which is presented with all the necessary information to make informed choices.

*hugs tightly* rage on my friend, rage on.

I have never been a nightly news watcher because they often repeat the same information thereby negating the title "NEWS". They tend to stress only the horrible things going on in the world. I want to know what is going on in the world, but I also enjoy knowing something good is happening somewhere. Otherwise the world gets too depressing. These days, though, they seem to report in little sound bites and no details. I am a detail person. I hate that they often take the most important information and bury it behind a lot of fluff so that you have to watch the entire broadcast to hear about the main story. I find the people that report the news to lack the gravity of the type of newscaster I saw as a kid. Everything seems to be about unfunny jokes and side comments that often have nothing to do with anything. There doesn't seem to be a connection between the people and what they say so it is hard to believe what they say. There was nothing more profound then watching a newscaster struggling to maintain their professionalism during a time of something really horrible and hearing the catch in their voice or seeing tears in their eyes. Or to see the joy in their eyes as they talked about something special. I find that what I am interested in is not what the news producers are interested in reporting. I found a website that tells me a little about what is going on in Afghanistan. But it is very generic.

This x100.

Once I saw a News Reporter break down on TV after a shooting (I think it was Columbine, but I don't remember exactly) and it changed the way I viewed the news. It was like lifting a veil for me, and I could see that everything on the surface was painted over to hide the cracks, but below everything was broken and mangled. I felt like an adult for the first time that day.

Hard day today!

*Crawls under the bar with a bottle of gin*
*Crawls in with him and hunkers down*

It's gonna be just fine, Pinky. Just fine.

The news from the R W is depressing and once more shows man’s inhumanity to man. Yet I look at those who frequent the Inn their concerns for another and it warms my heart. All too often we see what is wrong in our world and all too often ignore what is best and you my friends are some of the best.

Disembodied voices...hi CG,,,appearing Shiva's.,,,

There's a science machine? *perk*

*Crawls out from under the bar*

Morning all.

*Kisses Lady LS on the cheek*

*Shows Chris the gin bottle moon laser mark 1*

*hushed voice...* Its for drawing roses on the moon Chris!

Uggg:rose:

*no one seems to be around so I head out the back to drink rice wine with Foo*

If he gets me drunk enough I might even try challenging him (again) for a crack at the inn arm wrestling title.

*Remembers how sore arm was after last (failed) attempt...*

*...changes mind.*

"Hey Foo, break out the rice wine, I'm gonna challenge you for the inn tiddley winks title!"

Wait a minute! Don't be getting me involved in one of your schemes. I am going to sit here and look at the rose on the moon. Okay, so maybe it is too early to see the moon, so I will just stare out the window and not recognize the slow building roar coming from the kitchen.

Are you sure you want to paint the inn pink? Are you positive?

*Wilts a little*

Oh... so painting the Inn pink... Isn't a good idea?

Sorry, but try to picture Phoo Ming and CG sitting on a chair in a pink room. Maybe you could paint the walls in your area under the bar pink? It might brighten up your space, but CG wouldn't have to look at it? It is just a thought.

That's a great idea! But I can't do that right now. :rose:LS:rose: is still asleep down there and I don't want to disturb her.

Yeah. Trying to teach kids with dyslexia is hard for both the student and the teacher. It is hard to teach strategies when you can't see what the student can see. One year I had three fifth graders that couldn't read the most basic words. One guy couldn't even put thoughts together in a sentence to be able to dictate a sentence. By the end of the year the boys were working at a first grade level. One of them told me he didn't need any more help learning to read. I asked him why not. He pulled out a fifth grade level social studies book and began reading all the easy words: the, can, see, read, people. He read the first paragraph skipping all the words he couldn't read. Then announce proudly. See, I can read.

LOL it took some doing to make him realize that he had a little more learning to do.

There is some amazing research being done now and there have been some amazing breakthroughs, did you know they have developed a font that makes learning to read easier for dyslexic students? Amazing to think that something as simple as letter shape can have an effect but apparently it does!

No I hadn't heard that. I do know that using different colors makes a difference. Some kids see better through pink or green or blue.

Well, my eyes keep closing. I woke up earlier than usual and couldn't get back to sleep, so I gave up and got up. Apparently, my brain thinks now is the time for a nap.

You try to stay out of trouble while I am gone.
