Whoever coined the phrase 'blood is thicker than water' must not have seen much of a range of families. The day that I realized my parents were just people, like everyone else, with their virtues and faults, really changed my relationship with them. As people, we get along much better.

Somehow I don't think having a gentile American sailor around would make things better at home. You don't really think your parents would let you have a MAN in your room, do you? LOL

After a week of rainy Spring weather with temps in the 50F this morning we have bright blue skies, frozen puddles, and snow flurries for Easter.

It was yesterday Chris when it was in the lower 50F's. Today it is a brisk 20F this morning and we might get to 30F. A bit brisk but it does wake you up.

I think Ugg's in his burrow. I have a bit of reading I need to do this afternoon but not much at the moment. How about you?

Oh some weekend chores and dropping in here from time to time Chris and perhaps a single malt or two later just to brighten the day Chris.

I’ve been given a huge bottle of Jameson in the wood from my Irish cousin. As CG knows it’s very expensive and has a distinct taste of its own. Having a great evening planned with my Mum, my sister and I are taking her out for an all girl dinner tonight at her favourite restaurant. So great to be home. Then it’s the ski slopes from Monday, Texas the next week and back home towards the end of the month. We report back 8th May but Rick is back on 1st May so he will remain in the States giving me another week here.

Uh huh. Seems like it would make more sense to come inside by the fire. But men think a lot differently than women, so if standing outside squashed together to stay warm makes sense to you, then by all means, have at it.
