I would think that you could recognize a drop of gin buried in anything. But maybe you have drunk so much that your taste buds are diluted.

That's mean talk. It had all kinds of other ingredients, it tasted very nice but not at all like gin.
Those kind of fruity drinks are dangerous. They go down easy and then hit you hard. I haven't had an alcoholic drink in decades and I never got drunk but I liked tequila sunrises and sloe gin fizzes. But alcoholic drinks were a lot more expensive than a soda and since it was the sweet I liked, it didn't seem worth the additional price so I never drank much. I haven't had a complete drink since I was under 25. I did have a taste of an Adios when I was older. Not sure what was in the blue drink but it was good. Apparently, you have a couple of those and you say adios as you sink under the table. LOL
Huh, lot of alcohol in it.
ADIOS MOTHER FUCKER
Collins glass, shake then add your 7up.
½ oz. Vodka.
½ oz Gin.
½ oz Rum.
1/2 oz tequila (optional)
½ oz Blue Curacao.
2 oz sweet/sour.
Top with 7UP.
Hope CG gets back soon (eyes Uggg nervously) we're getting near the witching hour of 5K+ posts, the room'll need to regenerate soon.
Wow that was quick. I this thread.
Uh oh, already? Last time I looked it was in the three thousands.
What is Pimm's liqueur made of?
Just "Pimm's and sparkling lemonade." Pimm's is a British gin-based liqueur with bitter herbs and citrus, also known as a "fruit cup" because it's meant to be mixed in a tall drink with an effervescent mixer and fruit garnish.
And you added gin to a gin based liqueur.
I can also do it if need be. But the mods round here don't shut them down immediately at 5 k typically there's some wiggle room.
With this thread nearing the need for a reboot, perhaps this is a poor time for me to stop by. It just seems a welcoming place for newbies such as myself to become more acquainted with others here.
Don't wait, step inside. What's your poison? the bar tender is away atm but I know my way around the bar.
*Scowls at the snickering from the shadows*
We are always happy to meet new friends here.
Uggg
Hi, and thank you for the welcome. My typical alcoholic go-to is vodka with 7-Up or Sprite (no tonic or soda water here) and lime. However, given that we received 8"+ of snow yesterday, I could really go for an Irish coffee.
One Irish coffee coming up! Or would you like to try some mulled wine? i have a crock pot going as we speak?
It's quiet in here today but there's often a lot more activity. I don't know where the others are.
I'd love to have the 5,000th post yet again... apparently it's an obsession with me
Welcome rubi (I think someone just named you haha)
Just don't ask uggg for gin because it's gone... he drank it all
Glad you got to feel like a woman again GG
Yep, 2 more after this...Well there are only a couple more posts to go, so if you respond to a couple you could get it. LOL
