The China Pearl Inn part 9

A stranger walks into the inn, shaking off the stresses of the world. Walking to the bar he reaches up onto the shelf pulling off a dusty gourd. Looking around smiling at the familiar feel of the fire and sounds of the patrons he pours a drink.

He settles into his place by the fire and waits for old and new friends to arrive.

Evening I trust all is well with you. So what brings you here to our little corner of Lit today?

There is something familiar about this stranger and yet...… I pour my self a B&B and slip into my old leather chair by the hearth

All is well, simply looking for a place to relax and unwind. This place always had the best Sake. I hope all has been well with you.

Smiles and tips his drink to CG.

Ah yes Sake is a drink to warm the soul and to relax the weary traveler. A wandering monk use to stop by from time to time to partake of its relaxing and restorative powers.

I am C G Raven the host of this Inn, but just call me C G.

Well CG, it is nice to make your acquaintance, a monk I am not, at least not anymore. I am a wanderer, I seek the wild places in the world and in our hearts now.

KamaKamaSutra I am often more at ease and at peace in the wild untamed places in the world whether they are at sea, the desert, or Mountains. I also find that wild dark pleasure is reflected in my own heart.

Woooo:confused: Did we have some drama? Awwwww! I always miss the dramas!;)

Hiya everyone:rose::rose::heart:

:kiss:Uggg:D

Uggg!! I missed it too.

Hi, KamaKamaSutra. Nice to meet you.

Nothing happening here, I am in procrastination mode, once again, it seems. :) Time for me to start filling out my voting form. Gotta spend some time reading about candidates. Oh boy!!

I feel the same CG as my mind grows I find the darkness more comfortable than the so called light.

Hello Fantasies, nice to meet you again. I Believe we passed in the forums a few times in a past life.

The door groans open, and in with the wind and the rain comes a tottering figure, who looses a crackle of a laugh as the storm outside shoves him in like an unruly child. He staggers on one leg and shoves the entrance shut with one shoulder, then brushes the dripping hair out of his eyes and tries to shake the worst of the water off.

"It's a howler out there, ain't it?" he says with a smile made gruesome by his face. Bright blue eyes and curly brown hair are ruined with a pair of scars that run down the right side of his head, deep and disfiguring. One crosses his cheek and mauls the corner of his mouth, pulling it into a perpetual twist, and the other runs a furrow from the corner of his eye to his jawline. "Like standing inside a washing machine. The hell with that, I'll take some refuge."

He limps over to the bar and seats himself at a stool with a groan, still Without looking up, he waves a hand. " 'ey, so if you have any reposado tequila, I'll pay top dollar for that stuff. If not - I recognize that's not local - I'll take the bartender's recommendation. You know your business."

The Keep is out for a moment, but welcome to the Inn. The Inn provides us all the refuge we need sometimes, the world seems to want us to come here some days.

*Tips his drink toward you*

It is not fit for man or beast out tonight.

I pour a hot butter rum and slid it over to the newly arrived stranger.

Take a seat and relax.

KamaKamaSutra I also enjoy waking the darker passions of young beauties as well. ;)

S F all is well I take it. How is Lenny doing now that he is back?

"Can't say I've ever tried this, but it sounds terrible for my liver, so bottoms up!" the man cheers, and takes a draw of the rum. He sets the glass back down and beams at the bartender. "Like sticking my head in an onsen. Good call, keep."

He gestures outside with a flapping hand. "Still cleaning up after Michael touched down in my locality. My place is clear but I had relatives get hit and it's been a mess trying to get them back on their feet and their houses back in order."

Another long sip proceeds. The man sets back down his glass and shrugs. "So, hey: I ain't ever dipped my toe in these kind of pools before, lemme know if I do some stupid shit, yeah? I'd hate to be a ruckus."

He raises his glass in return. "Appreciate it, mate," he says with a crooked smile (not that he has a lot of choice in the matter of smiling). "It's good to be welcome somewhere, especially if it's new. Pardon my intrusion, yeah? I'm a wanderer, I won't be long in the way."

Have we? I am terrible with names. So I apologize for not recognizing you.

Haven't seen hide nor hair of him since he scuttled across the floor the first day.

Welcome, Obuzeti. It has been awhile, but a ruckus is not new to this place. :)

Sorry to hear about your relatives. :rose:

Obuzeti, thats some heavy stuff. Glad your ok and hope you guys get cleared up soon!

Fantasy, don't worry I went under a different name then no worries about not remembering me lol.

Lets get some drink flowing! Barkeep pour the house a round!

Your not intruding in the least Obuzeti and the Inn has always been a place to welcome wanders. I myself am just a poor sailor lad up on the beach and looking for a berth. ;)

As I remember S F Lenny is quite good at keeping a low profile.

The house a round Kama a very generous offer I start taking orders and pour drinks and then started passing them out.

A thick fog shrouds the world this morning and there is a decided chill in the air. A low fire burns on the hearth and a warm glow fills the room.

Morning to any who may be about and to those that hide in the shadows.

I blow a kiss to the rafters for the redheaded little nymph that makes them home. Morning Cait.

I still hearing the first of the patrons head out. Rubbing my neck to wake up, and smiling at the sleeping bodies. I head out the door.

* I'll have to as CG for a room, something with lots of plants*

Yes Kama There are rooms to rent her at the Inn, would be much of an Inn if there wasn't. ;)

The plants though would be on you Kama, I prefer to decorate my loft up under the eves with sweet feminine companions. Though I fear it has been sometime sense I have entertained a young beauty there.

Shaking off the wind and rain, I walk in carrying some large plants and pulling a wagon full of plants.

Laying a gold brick down on the counter I settle into an unoccupied room and start arriving my plants. The fragrance of wildflowers fills the room and the small fire pot warms the area. I sit and meditate while awaiting company to arrive.

For years I’ve taught some of my patients it’s ok to swim when pregnant. Now I’m proving how healthy it is. Good news from the team on international relief, water and power restored to many areas, food deliveries done and field hospitals working. Expect a gradual recall to begin.

Gold brick? That will keep you in the room and in plants for a year at least.

Great news all around. I will be glad when everyone is home safe, but I know that what you all do is super important.

Glad to hear all is going well G G abroad and you are getting some exercise.

S F sounds like you are life. ;)

Kama the plants are ok as long as none of them are carnivorous.
and S F is quite correct a gold brick buys you that room for a year.

Congrats GG

Hehe I recently changed professions, gold bricks are easier to come by now, or at least the materials to make them are. :D

No carnivorous plants. One or two may nibble but I doubt any of us are opposed to a little nibbling.

Oh G G nibbling a Turkish delight you could nibble on me.. Just teasing young lady. I trust all is well with you.

Well as long as they only sensually nibble on the patrons I guess it is alright Kama.
