Wave to Kama as he drags his crate through the Inn and acknowledge his greeting with a nod. He has disappeared before I can give voice to that greeting.

Sighing I settle deeper into my chair by the hearth.

Morning everyone, how are we today?

Shiva, it's wonderful to see you this morning.

*Leaving the door open, the room has transformed, a juke box surrounded by large plants and flowers dominates one corner, while a water fountain with a Koi pond fills the opposite one.. The bed has been replaced by a large hammock. Around the ceiling hangs a variety of insectivorous plants. The room is illuminated by several floating balls of light, that seem to bob and weave with a mind of their own.

I am doing ok. Found a place, in the country of course, and with closing, a few minor repairs should be moving in about the first week of December.

I can see that Kama. I slide over a steaming mug of coffee fortified with just a wee bit of something stronger in it.

How goes the transition across the country, found you anything interesting over there yet?

I found a place in a rural setting a little over 5 acres Kama. Should be moving in around the first week of December.

Very nice, sounds like a good little retreat. Hopefully the locals are friendly and can be tempted to only nibble and not bite.

I find that if you sit on your door step and clean a rifle, shotgun, and pistol it makes for good neighbors Kama.

That would encourage them to be on their best behavior. I have German Shepards they usually do the trick

No dog yet Kama but a dog is on my list of must have.

GSD's suit me, loyal, easy to train, love to lounge or go for a hike.

I had a malamute when I was in college. A fun loving but mischiefs animal.

Pretty sure they own us, they just deem us worthy of their time lol.

I believe that sense dogs are pack animals they have a rank system with an Alpha is , pardon, as a top dog. I prefer to be the Alpha Kama.

Oh I know, its hard to feel like an Alpha when you damn huskies have ran you for 4 miles through the mountains and shows back up at the house before you do.

Awe that roll of Alpha must start when they are pups Kama.

I do not understand the modern training method of treats to reinforce behavior when training a dog. If they don't get the treat they often rebel. I find a gentle hand and acceptance is the better route.

Every time, I've never been able to train a dog without positive reinforcement. All my dogs know basics, most know a few tricks, but one or two are just a little bone headed.

The huskies just get into a running mode and go, it would take a natural disaster to snap them out of it sometimes.

All the sled dog breeds love to run Kama and they need to as well.
