The China Pearl Inn---Part Six.

Night Robyn and enjoy your day off. After all, all work and no play makes Jane a dull girl.

Glad yes a hole in one is golf. its "love "scores for tennis.;)

No reason to be embarrassed Shiva. Professional Sports are no my strong point.

Never played golf, well miniature but not the regular stuff. Played tennis once, I was not impressed with all the time I spent chasing the ball. I preferred racquet ball, the ball hits the wall and comes back, very little chasing around after it. My hand-eye coordination is so bad I would probably dig up the grass all around the golf ball. :)

Sounds like we all should have had dinner at CG's. I went to eat some fruit and it was all shriveled up.

Sounds like all you girls are busy doing your thing. Has anyone heard from Rick and Mr. T? I know they are off doing their thing, but I like to know that they are safe doing it, or at least as safe as possible.

We have had rain every day, but never when the weather sites predict of course. I keep making plans only to get the door and the skies open up. I don't have any plans that necessitate me getting soaked. Still, I wish there was more of a set time frame rather than Mother Nature just coming in at any old time in a 24 hour period.

Other than watching the rain fall (sometimes hail also) I am not doing much of anything at all. I am waiting on this month's box of books.... ::foot tapping impatiently::

Good Morning CPI

Strange as it may seem the Pride (which is our new unit name given us by our CO - Lions & Lionesses) has a weekend off before preparations for the States begin next week. GG & I are taking advantage to catch up on our backlog of office work? I swear it breeds over night! At least we can do it in mufti. It's very overcast here and I can hear thunder in the distance.

Mr T & BigRick are 'somewhere over there' as we say but we've heard all is well.

GG has just appeared following her shower (we had a run at 0600 hours) now it's brekky and work. If we're lucky we'll get some cricket in tomorrow but that depends on the rain. Like SF I don't like golf. Seems you hit a ball and then go looking for the bloody thing! Prefer tennis 🎾.

I salute CG (asleep in the armchair) and  his forehead before fading back to the real world.

Ummm soft moist ripe lips press to my forehead in a tender kiss and call me from sleep a smile bows my lips as my eyes flutter open.

Morning HSG.

Golf is a simple game to understand it is a pleasant walk in the woods and fields destroyed by a little white ball. Tennis is fun to play but to watch your brains rattle in your head as your eyes follow the ball.

Now I know that paper work and endless reports are part of military life and command but young lady you and G G need to remember to take some Recky time as well. For HSG all work and not play makes Jane a dull girl.

A soft kiss brushes HSG’s cheek.

A hug and a soft kiss

Good to see you back S F. I would have loved to have you and our sweet young troopers and Glad over for dinner but given our respective time zone it would have been a challenge, but one I would gladly accept.;)

CG, I would love to come to dinner, even if it is only cyber dinner. Remember I'm Jewish so I don't eat pork.

Or lobster or shrimp Robyn, not sure about shell fish. So I think we well have poached salmon, a dill sauce, and a fresh salad a light meal as it is summer. Maybe smoked Atlantic salmon.

I'll bring some sirloin steak and the wine. Glad can bring the beef sausages. O and I love roast potatoes.

I've been playing tennis with some of my fellow cubs. Won 6-3, 6-2. Now we're off to the movies to see Dunkirk and then back at base tonight we're going to see The latest Game of Thrones.

Chicken and dumplings and black eyed peas for us today. Some left over to take for lunch this week.

Yes Robyn I have a TV where you can watch Game of Thrones. I am going out next weekend to see Dunkirk. I hear it is very well done. Operation Dynamo was a case study we had.

Are we having dinner? I need something. Today was supposed to be my day off but HSG and I have reports and paperwork to catch up on. Hopefully we'll get time to play cricket tomorrow (if the rain stays away) then we get set for the States.

Getting a tv is on my list for this week. I haven't had a tv for about five years. I got to the point where I was watching everything on the computer. But the internet access is so slow, think not in terms of Gigabytes, or Megabytes, but in Kilobytes, so it takes 2-5 hours to watch one show. I have missed watching Turner Classic Movies in August where they showcase one artist for the entire day, so I have decided after a year of this miserable streaming..no, trickling, that it is time.

But that means I have to actually do it. I hate buying large ticket items. It is too hard to make up my mind. sigh

But I need my Sidney Poitier fix. :D

You guys are so sweets

*waves hi to everyone* Long day but a good one for me. Hope to chat more tomorrow!

Hi Sisters

HSG & I have a TV in our quarters but we only use it for sport and Game of Thrones. But I like Sidney Poitier too.

LS, take it easy and enjoy your night. Who knows you might even get naughty :cattail:

CG must be in bed. If you see him give him a hug from me.

Goodnight CPI (as I shut my eyes I see latent images of reports). I need my man
