It doesnt want to boot. When the desktop starts loading it freezes. Gonna take it to the shop to get it looked over tomorrow. *looks at the other two and chuckles at where Fr33k's eyes are looking*

Sounds like too many resources in use on the desktop, and as for the laptop, a refusal to boot...does it power on at all? Or does it just shut back off immediately?

THat could be one of several things. Hardware failure (any one failed component can cause that, though they usually bring about a BSOD first). Security breach. applying a service pack update without the required minimum amount of memory installed (which is why even on a laptop, you really SHOULD install the maximum amount of memory). Have you done an error check yet? Or an initial POSTCheck?

I just find it hilarious. Especially since...ever seen the cartoon Justice League Unlimited? Well, in one of the last episodes of the Justice League cartoon, they introduced a character who was pretending to be Supergirl. Turns out it was a clone created by a government agency called CADMUS (in the same way as Superboy is a CADMUS created clone of Superman). In JLU, she makes a return appearance, calling herself Galatea, and dressed as...you guessed it...Power Girl. She had herself aged so she wouldn't be mistaken for Kara. But the basic definition of Power Girl, according to the comics, is, as I like to put it, a bustier, BALLSIER version of Super Girl. Known to even bust Superman's chops when he stares a bit too long.
