Looking between the two of them, my deep blue eyes dancing as I hold the rose in my hand.

*smiles, and points towards the ceiling, where the stars still seem to be dancing*

Following his finger, I glance up

It's...beautiful. How did you do that?

Feeling very inferior sitting with the two of them.

*sits next to Scarlet

Never feel inferior while among friends

*grins* You saw what BG tried to do? I showed her how to separate the single glowing orb into thousands. Then it gave me the idea to do that.

Smiling as she sits, enjoying the company

It's quite impressive.

it's draining though. She had to catch me when I did it. This place brings magic out in people, so it's a good place to practice, especially with the mana pools that flow through it, but still.

So...people who might not know they have it...tend to find it here, I'm guessing.

*nods emphatically* granted, there is the occasional person who is completely barren when it comes to magic. They're usually very resistant to it, though.

I came here for the first time last night and it seemed to call to me, the shadows and stones make me feel safe and clam here

Sadly, I think I am barren to magic...but we'll see.

*reaches out and takes Scarlet's hand gently in hers turning it palm side up. Her glowing orb appears and dances from her palm over onto Scarlets and back. The orb does that for severs seconds before staying on Scarlets.

the warrior king Gustav came here once. He was called The Steel because he was never able to use magic. His instructor had felt within him great magical potential, however, and was confused as to why he had no power. The answer was simple. His magic had coalesced early on into an absolute barrier against it, to the point that he can't even use magical artifacts.

I can feel the heat in my hand from the orb, panicking a bit, I pull away and the orb falls. Turning to Raven I wonder ... was he good at using steel? Without magic, he might need another way to protect himself...like a sword. grinning softly

*grins* Who do you think taught me to fight? I used to use halberds.

*smiles at Scarlet and stands..walks along the outer wall of the keep and lights the remaining candles by hand. Staying in the shadows and more away from the engulfing light,she stops and takes a piece of cheese and bread from a serving wench,noting how each wench is different,none even remotely similar.

Her flowing black hair moves around her shoulders and the soft swish of her long black gown faintly noticeable. She roams around the room,touching items and reading titles to ages old scrolls.

My head dips just a bit as I steal another piece of fruit off the tray.

Ah...I see and I'm sure you are quite skilled, yes?

 

[dragonrazor]

*grins again* I'm still learning a few things. I haven't mastered Dualwielding yet.

 

[scarletnym]

It's always good to continue to learn.

My eyes follow babygurl as she moves about the room.

 

[dragonrazor]

*grins, watching, and nods* Now reach up to the crystals on the wall, and will them to light.

Shivering a bit

I...I think maybe I'll wait just a bit to try anything. If that is ok?

*smiles, and nods again, before standing up and walking down the aisles of tables, touching silver statues with blue crystals, and each one lights up*

I run quickly in to give Scarlet a bid kiss wondering what an earth she is doing,

*waves to Yeishia and continues to browse the various writings. her eyes alit with excitement at all she sees,the blushes when she realises she is being rude to roam anothers home.

Blushing as I watch him walk away, I grin as Yeishia appears.
