*his face kept the same expression that it always had, his eyes looking up to the winged devil who had swooped in to be the white knight against his evil tyranny. Exactly how it was supposed to be, he was sure. His fingers curled tightly around the collar that was still in his grasp as he slowly moved to a standing position, his eyes looking at the scene before him. He supposed he had always known that it would end up like this. He hadn't ever really been all that successful or talented at much of anything, while still having just enough talent to feel like he could dabble in almost anything. Sort of a jack of all trades, but a master of none, which really summed up the entire situation. He really wasn't suited to be a master. He never had been. He might have tried, but it was as Sylvie had said. Never had he been able to give her the things that she really needed from the relationship. It was only a matter of time before he made her cry and she went to someone else to help her through it, and this time the person that she had run to had been Dev.
His face retained the same cool expression that he had been wearing since the beginning of this experience, but unlike when he had walked in, his eyes didn't hold any delightful sparkle, instead being cold and dark. He stared forward at the two for a moment before he pushed the collar into his own pocket, not having the heart to leave it here or just throw it away. He simply stared forward for a long moment, his one hand still thrust into his pocket, his fingers curled tightly around the collar, the other arm hanging lazily at his side as he watched the two.*
