They function as limbs, so why not refer to them as such?
Its much less attractive to refer to them as pseudopods. Puts head back down on his chest, content to be close enough to hear his heart beat
Retracting my tendril back to me, I wrap my arms around her, igiving her a sense of comfort and protection. I listen to the fire crackle and the night noise of the Island as well as the gentle sound of waves. All adding to the peace and serenity of the place.
Taking a stroll through the forest, twirling a lstick in my right hand, and passing by a few islanders sitting near some campfires, I enjoy the night and the sound of the place.
Arriving back at the Village I walk down the main path, which weaves between the houses. The sound of people talking about various topics, children laughing as they play in the park, and the background noise of the Island. I look west, towards the horizon, and watch the sun as it begins to make it's decent.
Slowly washes up on the beach, not realizing the fact the she let herself be washed away. She Coughed up water, once then twice, no longer in her cat form, but in pure human form, her dark skin wet from the water. Her outfit was torn, and she had a cut on her stomach, bleeding slightly.
Sensing another presense, I shift forms and head towards a beach. I hover near Neko, wondering how she ended up like this, and shift back to human. I put my hand on her head, to see if she's alright.
Your friend moved away, like from our hometown? Or left Lit? If they moved away, then know how you feel. My best friend moved away, when I was in sixth grade, but we kept in contact through email and on phone.
I ponder here second reply
What do you mean by you were afraid of what might happen? Is there anything you need help with?
Walking along the shore, I gaze out at the ocean, looking at the reflection of the moon on the water and wondering where everybody is and wishing for some visitors. Shrugging I lie down on the ground and look up at the sky.
Pondering Lisa's sudden arrival and departure, and wondering when she'll drop by, I pass through the beach camp, headed towards the water. Taking off my shirt, and tossng it aside, I wade a few feet into the water before diving in. Testing my limits, I go out a few more feet, until the water is up to my neck before swimming back and letting myself float on the ocean's waves
I round the little outcrop, flying over the waves at what seems like a ridiculously fast pace for a ship as small as mine. Ahead is a large bay where I've decided to spend the night. I take down the sails, folding them neatly and tying them in place. From my position on the mast, I can see ...something... floating in the water, maybe 40 feet off to starboard. I drift closer and realize its human, though who I cannot tell. I am not far out, but perhaps they got caught on a riptide and are exhausted. Whoever it is is not kicking and has his eyes shut. He appears to be either asleep or unconscious. Without hesitation I leap off the mast, pushing off hard with my legs. I land with barely a splash 20 feet away, covering the remaining distance underwater with a few strong kicks. I surface next to the swimmer, sliding under him and wrapping my arms around his chest, his head out of the water on my shoulder. Witha little maneuvering, I turn around and begin towing him back to my little sailboat.
Thanks. I won't be long. Ducks swiftly below deck, grabbing things and stuffing them into a waterproof bag before changing into a tiny bikini before heading back up
Ready? Shoots him a racy grin before diving over the side, bag slung across body
