You coulda told me, I thought you were ticked it took me forever and a year to get back to you in our thread. Which I am sorry about. The wedding really took it out of me, and I'm only just now starting to feel like myself.

I perhaps should have shot you a whisper. I'm just at that point that all my excess writing energy is channeled into writing assignments, so I'm not getting back to people much. I owe Alice a saucy post as well, which I was really hoping to write two weekends ago, but that did not happen.

Smiles sleepily at her. Even right now, I wouldn't have had time to drop in tonight if not for unusual circumstances. I've been getting to sleep before midnight, Eastern time, before tonight, but I was at a football game tonight, spending time with some friends, so I have some excess adrenaline in my system. Plus I was drinking, and I feel like I'm obliged to sit and drink some water before I drink the Nyquil that will inevitably knock me out.

Rubs at the gristle on his face after she kisses his cheek, then wraps his arm around her lightly. I suppose things are going well enough. It was pretty rough going back about three weeks, because that was my friend's birthday and I missed her terribly, but I kept myself busy so I wouldn't have to think about it. Other than that I'm being really boring. Read a 200 page book about a plantation house owned by a Cherokee chief, read "The Imitation of Christ" by Thomas à Kempis, read 300 pages out of my History of Russia textbook, now reading another book about the history of Russia while preparing to help teach high schoolers about the Persian Empire. It's lots of reading. Shrugs, sleepily. I should be getting to bed pretty soon I suppose.

I'm learning things about kids, while I'm at it. Some of it's kind "live and learn" sort of lessons. Like, apparently, I need to work on my sarcasm. It comes naturally to me, but they don't seem to recognize what I'm doing necessarily.

For example, there's some amount of rudeness. Like, just bluntly asking, "Hey, how old are you?" So instead of answering to questions that rudely directed, I say, "I'm older than I was when I was your age." Which I thought was a cute response for that...but it totally missed the target with them.

Sarcasm takes time to hone into a skill. But you're gonna be an amazing teacher. At any rate, get some rest.

G.J ambles his way in toward the couch, planted a hand on the back of it and vaults over the couch landing with a grin. Hey ya'll how's it going? Damn this is a nice couch. Putting his hands behind his head, stretches his long legs out and crossed them at the ankles. Nice place you have here even some good company it looks like...Oh excuse my manners names G.J. Wolfias.

His laughter was usually quite contagious hopefully nobody was immune, but you could always laugh at yourself right? Certainly you could...you know a little self deprecating humor is good for the soul. This G.J said to himself he didn't want to seem insane, though he might be it was well within the realm of possibilities.
