Laughing softly he looks down at her with a perked brow.

"What in the world do you mean 'If?'"

Reaching down to give her a loving squeeze.

*simply laughs* Fine. We both know you're going to get your way and I'm going to love it. *she turned her head to kiss his jaw*

*still laughing softly she reached up to curl an arm around his neck, hand pressed to the back of his head and kissed that grin of his*

-Returning her kiss deeply, arms tugging her up out of the chair. Holding her frame against his. Finally breaking the kiss he whispers quietly- How does snuggling until I fall asleep sound to you?

She looked up into those eyes of his and smiled.

"It sounds absolutely wonderful and I daresay, I'll be falling asleep right along with you. You do have that affect on me."

-Flashes a grin. Leaning in to kiss her forehead- Not sure how good of a thing that is?

Teasing of course.

-Gives her a soft tug toward bed.-

Night love

Night love

*Her hand lingers just long enough to turn off the light before she's tugged off to bed to nestle with her Daddy love until they both fall alseep. *

Night, lover.

She stumbled off toward the kitchen, somehow navigating the house without bruising herself. Why the bloody hell was she awake so early? Not even the chickens were up yet. If they had been, she'd have wrung their necks for waking her.

The mug from Brit was quickly washed, dressed only in her favoirte sleeping shirt, she leaned over the counter, watching the coffee slip into the glass pot, mentally hurrying it along.

Armed with her coffee, she made her way to the study and sat at her desk. For a moment, she takes the time to stare out of the window into her garden, a soft smile on her lips. She was definitely a lucky girl.

A sip of coffee. An idle rummage for a pencil and note pad. Faint scribblings can be heard. A list is forming. Gifts to be bought and delivered. The latter to be done sometime later as little birds had told her that their resident witch is currently, delightfully, occupied.

A late night walk down on the shore before she took the path for home where Daddy was waiting for her. She had a million things to think about. Strange how life took the turns they do sometimes. You just never know what is going to greet you the next day. The water flowed up on shore, tickling her bare toes and she wiggled them in the cool water. Pausing, she glanced up at the night sky. So many twinkling stars. A wry grin formed on her lips. Never. Ever. Test the Universe. It has a way of making you eat your own words. She touched the star around her neck, a soft look of wonder in her eyes. Things weren't easy. She didn't want them to be. It was a learning curve to be sure but what about Life, wasn't? Who knew what would present itself down the road. Life was for living right now, in the moment. She'd ask for nothing further. Right now? She had a rumbling man waiting for her in bed and it was time to get home where she belonged instead of pondering the mysteries of the Universe at this late hour. With sandals hooked on one hand, she started up the path that led back to the mansion and the man who awaited her inside it, in their bed.

Behind her, the stars reflected across still waters of the calm ocean. The soft sound of lapping water touching the shore. The moon lit her path home from its place in the darkened sky. All was quiet. All was still. All was well.

Tonight, she sat on her bedroom patio, leaving the sliding glass door to their bedroom open. A light breeze blew the curtains inside then out. She watched the night sky. No stars tonight, they were covered by clouds. Lightning streaked across the sky, creating quite a show. Rain fell in the garden. The air smelled fresh and clean. She loved the rain and storms. Head resting on the back of the chair, her eyes closed to better listen to the rain. Soothing, even when it fell with strength. Nature was raw and powerful. Glorious. Liberating. She pulled air deeply into her lungs, letting it fill her. Letting the power of the storm consume her. She drifted into slumber's embrace, hair hanging over the back of the chair. Her body relaxed into the storm, letting it take her into the swirling dreams that came with night.

With a sigh of frustration and a few other things she rather not be feeling at the moment, with coffee in hand, she made her way into the study and set the computer to booting up.

Damn it all. I was feeling so great when I woke up and now, I'm in a freaking dour mood.

The cure all for her current toss into negativity? Lose herself in her threads. Heaven knows, she has some owing. Then maybe a shower. Yeah. Shower. That always helps.

~ a whisper, like the song of a bird just outside her window~
Sorry the day turned dour.. DW... a shower does help to wash away perhaps whatever is stressing you ...

Thanks, Rain. :rose: I'm fine now. It was a silly, little, stupid thing, not even worth talking about. I chalk it up to needing food. As a diabetic, if I don't eat in a timely manner, my mood switches faster than bi-polar person's does. Seriously. I've been a diabetic for at least five years now, one would think I'd have a handle on mood swings by now. *rolls her eyes*

By the way, welcome to the mansion. Please feel free to stop in any time, unless FD and I are doing hot and steamy things in here. *grins wickedly*
