I can't help but sigh softly as I lean back in my chair, contemplating responses owed. Will I have time to get to them today? Hopefully. So much to do but it will all come together I'm sure.

There's a slight quirk to my lips as my mind wanders, wondering what a certain elf will run into next. I have an idea, but it's not fully formed yet.

A certain detective is about to become a personal bodyguard and will deal with a stalker. That should be fun.

A Marine has come to a homestead seeking a job with a family that has lost a Marine who gave his all. This one, I wait on with softly held breath.

A certain battle mage has a decision to make. What will he do?

My list seems endless but it's not. I had an offer the other day and regretfully, I had to turn them down. I think holding 13 threads is more than enough and that doesn't include the ones on hold while I wait for my co-writers to get back, if they do. But I was tempted. So, tempted.

My day is over for the most part. Everything is set to order or some such. Dinner is simmering and I'm wishing it were Monday or maybe even late Sunday already. I know that makes me sound like a grouch, but that's how I am feeling at the moment. A grouch.

But, this too shall pass. I'll get through this. I'll smile until my face hurts. I'll sneak off and hide when I feel like exploding. It's just 3 1/2 days. That's doable. So, why don't I sound more convincing???

Slowly and in bits, the mansion is being decorated for All Hallows. Candles were turning up everywhere.
