I guess it beats being called simple and uncomplicated. :D

To be fair, there was more to that description I just left it out

I just sorta zoomed in on that one part.

*snickers*

leave it to an uncomplicated women to focus on a single subject then read the whole thing :)

*hides*

Well... Uncomplicated can mean such a myriad of things...

1. Simple, not interesting, not intelligent (NOT good things)

2. Knows who she is, knows what she is, can think for herself and make up her own mind when needed, has her own opinions and stands by them, can offer the best advice because she tells and sees things like they are, does not muddy her emotions with unneeded drama... (ALL GOOD THINGS)....

I am guessing... YOU are the second one.. Hun... LOL... in fact, I KNOW you are.....

* hugs Nyte* thank you. I'm sure it was meant as a goof thing.

Flowers. Orchids. They are left at the stair. A reminder. He is a ghost these days. So it is.

Orchids. Exotic. Soft. Delicate looking. Yet, she knew that orchids were durable. Strong. They weathered much.

She carried them to the study. Set the plant on the corner of her desk. To admire and to remember. With a smile.

He was gone. Yet not. A ghost. Such was the way of a busy, busy man.

Flowers. Orchids this time.

She understood and smiled. Again.

I love this, especially the emerald glass.

My head is pounding. Lack of sleep, is my guess. I am having a hard time staying in focus to write. But, I am getting caught up. I may have to retreat from writing for the evening soon and knock the rest out tomorrow.

My eyes fall on my orchids. Generous. The man is generous to a fault with those he cares about. His time. His actions. His gestures. A host of other things she didn't even mention.

*sighs* Back to writing. Brightwell next.

She drug the laptop out to the great room and curled her legs under her to write as she lazily watched the fire dance in the fireplace. The rain had stopped for the moment but she knew that wouldn't last long. The passing storms had made her antsy but she managed to curtail such feelings for the moment. She found other things to do in the house but they weren't enough. All too soon her body was going to demand that she exercise it more. Maybe sword practice was in order in her Room of Mirrors. Not on the morrow for the day was loaded with things to do. Places she needed to be. Perhaps the following day. She would have to wait and see. But something would have to be done and soon.

Now... to finish up on her owed posts. One more to go.

*pads the edge of the property, sniffing the air he catchs movement, with a smile he pads to her patio door, scratching it, amber eyes watching her, with a grin he curled up at the door, resting my head on my paws, eyes watching*

Her attention was lifted from the laptop, eyes went to the source of the sound. A small chuckle, a brief shake of her head and she set the laptop on the couch and got up, moving toward the sliding door and opening it.

"You are welcome here, wolf. Come in out of the cold and come share the warmth of my house and my hospitality."

She stood aside and waited for him to enter.

*nuzzles against her leg and slides through the door, shaking off the snow then curls up beside the chair she was sitting in and stretchs out*

It was snowing? She peered out and sure enough, small white flakes were falling. The sight made her smile. She loved snow. Closing the door in his wake, she turned and stared.

"Oh hell no. Off you go. Now shoo."

She gave his rump a shove off the couch.

"You can curl up over there, by the fire if you like but you're wet. Go dry off."

She glanced at the wet spot his fur left on her couch and retrieved her laptop and curled herself into one of her comfy chairs this time.

"What brings you out this time of night, wolf?"
