Visual porn doesn’t require any input from the viewer. Everything is shown in the most graphic detail and the logical conclusion is the money shot.

Written erotica on the other hand demands degree of imagination from the reader. This is true no matter how competent the author. Therefore a depiction of a money shot is superfluous unless the story demands it for other reasons.

Condensed Milk in tubes made a useful substitute in the 1960s.

I should think it is more high tech now, but if you hit a condensed milk tube with a rubber mallet you could see "cum" fly and land with a satisfactory splatter.

In all honesty, the money shot is something that I can do without even in mainstream porn. I just do not feel the need to see some other guy's hose squirtin' a load

I don't think a money shot, per se, is an integral part of written erotica. It exists in visual erotica just to bring a scene to an end. There is no such need in written erotica. Of course some writers will decribe this in great detail but the chances are they will also have depicted the preceding activities in just as much detail.
