The NEW UK Kink Thread

My wife and I are wondering whether to go to Sexpo at Olympia in London next weekend. It's much more expensive than LAM (£25-£30 each), but that does appear to include the classes, seminars and workshops as well as the displays.

Can anyone offer any first-hand experience to help us decide? Thanks in advance for any pointers. :)
.

Um, no, sorry, too new to all this myself! Let's share intelligence as we gather it :)
I am undecided whether to attend and even if I do it will only be for the Saturday.

Anyone else battered by storms? We lost a fence.

But I love the storm, so....it all evens out.

Driving down from Nottingham was very windy and rainy. Master drives and I feel all safe and snug

.

Morning all

And my fist time in this thread.... hummmmmm

Welcome CFMB fan to this wonderful wandering thread :D

Left Malich's this morning for a conference at Lincoln :( how is everyone today? :)

Aaww! Hope your conference goes well.
I am a tired but bouncy thing after going to the concert with Master last night which was awesome . Hoping to meet a dear friend later on.

Belle,

Is he doing better, really? How concerned are you? :(. Btw, loved seeing johann.

Elle

He's a getting better, I think. Slightly more mobile and wounds healing. Still worried about him though (which reminds me...Malich, call the doc please :) )

We (my wife and I) are glad to hear that he's improving. :)

Malich: please make us all even happier by saying that you've made an appointment to see the doctor. I can't see a biscuit emoticon to send you, so you'll have to make do with this flower. :rose:

Nag, nag, nag! Anyone would think I wasn't capable of looking after myself ;)

will call Monday now I am (mostly) sure I can hobble to the surgery if i can get an appointment. My new walking stick is helping but makes me feel even more of a cripple :)

*coughs loudly* ;)

If necessary, get a taxi. It might not seem very manly, but sometimes you need to cosset yourself. :)
.

I don't nag about house stuff, diy, or stuff for me or stuff like that.
Sorry, Elle -- I wasn't suggesting otherwise from you! I just wanted to make the point to Malich that when we (collectively) nag him, we're doing it from a place of caring rather than any desire to be irritating (as might be the case when some people nag). :)
.

The stick is a hiking cane so very adjustable... and I only own 2 pairs of shoes and one of those is for work only... which I am not doing currently.

Be proud of me for that, normally I'd be going back to work on monday so as not to let people down! :)

And you thought that Lally and I nagged you!

About Sexpo. This is the first one, it's an untested and untried format. I am really hoping it works because it's costing an arm and a leg, plus I'm missing BBB for it. It is very popular in Australia, so the team are bringing it here.
Saturday is going to be a killer. 12 hrs straight trading. I'm going to have very sore feet!

Ah! That explains why I haven't been able to find out much about it. :D

I'm not yet sure whether we're likely to turn up on the Saturday or the Sunday. We're keen to give it a try, though. :)

I have a pair of work boots and a pair of everyday boots, the every day boots will get replaced son as they're getting a little worn. the work boots are still fine. Having a second pair of those isn't really practical but then at most I wear them 3 days a week.

Daisy, hope it goes well. make sure you have somewhere to sit down at some point! Are you trading solo? or taking someone along to help?

Good Morning ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I'm back from the wilderness and ready to return to normality (as soon as I figure out what normal actually is) :)

Big hello and hugs and stuff (where appropriate) to all the new names around this place too!!

Malich, did you make that doc's appointment? Back problems can be severely debilitating, but don't let them fob you off with 'nothing can be done'. A close friend of mine suffered with extreme back pain for years (disc damage), and finally ended up having surgery a few months ago. She's well on the mend now, and says she can't believe the increased mobility she now has. However, on a less invasive note, she did have quite a high degree of success a few years back, before her condition degenerated, with a course of IDD spinal decompression therapy, which, crudely put, is a sort of ultra high tech rack thing to relieve the pressure on the specific discs, and allow them to heal. I don't know if it might be of any use to you, but I'll ask her for some details and PM them to you, if you think it might help.
