Cold here too - my fingers are still thawing out!

Mind you, I got some photos from a friend in Chicago yesterday after their blizzard and, although it looks very pretty, I wouldn't like to have to cope with it :D

Hope they don't start messing you about with this new flat, Malich. I bet you'll be glad to see the end of all this house sale business.
 
On a completely random note...

A young chap with a clipboard knocked on our door one evening just over a week ago and my heart sank at the thought of fighting off yet another salesman. But he was from RAJAR and was asking if I'd fill in an online diary of my radio listening activity for a week.

So that was fine and I did as requested - got to keep Radio 6 going somehow, haven't we? :D - and I completed it on Sunday evening.

Last night he turned up again and, to my surprise, handed me a fiver for completing the survey! So if you get asked to do one as well, there's cold hard cash in return :D

When i did it a few years back I didn't get paid... Gutted!

Contracts exchanged today for a completion on the 20th, everything confirmed.... other than where I am moving to!

To counter the positive, finally got relaxed and to sleep after a day with a 2am start and some plonker set the fire alarm off. Now my brain is awake again.

Hope you managed to drift off again - I struggle if I've been woken up suddenly.

Morning all :) Cold but sunny here. Went for a run last night in the cold and my legs are complaining a LOT this morning...
 
After about 2 hours I got back to sleep but didn't leave me feeling refreshed and upbeat :)

Home now though, sleep in my own bed tonight. Hopefully without fire alarms or other issues.

Hope your legs are feeling better lally?

Hope you get a proper sleep tonight - I always sleep best in my own bed :)

My legs aren't too bad today - ive learnt my lesson about running in leggings that leave my calves bare, when the temperature is minus two....:rolleyes:
 
Right, I got the first house, I get the keys on the 18th and have to be out by the 20th.... tight but doable.

Tired this morning - went out last night to a gig, and arrived home well past my usual bedtime. Age is very trying sometimes..

Spent monday shifting stuff to the Tip, today I get the keys to the new place and start dropping off boxes. I think I can get most of the small stuff shifted in the car today.

Trips to the tip sound like fun, Mal - glad that the move is finally underway.

How's the weather in Preston, SV? It's fairly grim here - not too cold but it feels like the sky is two feet above my head, and horribly dark.
 
Hi Lally, bit cool here, sort of grey, but not too oppressive. Nice to able to drive home in the daylight these days too :) Good luck with the move Malich, last time I moved it took 2 transit van loads to the tip just to clear the garage!!
 
I'm hoping the next time I move, it will be in a little wooden box.....the thought of wading through all the rubbish that my hubby has accumulated over the years would finish me off anyway..:rolleyes:
 
To make matters interesting, despite knowing I'm off work this week to move house, my idiot boss is apparently still giving out my number to people who need rush documentation writing.

Guess who has two hours or vital, must be done today, paperwork to fit into the schedule now?

Le Sigh!
