*he lifts the pot and fills her cup, catching her gaze as it rises to meet his own. His lips lift into a soft smile and he lifts his free hand to push a stray strand of her hair back behind her ear.*

I have to agree with you on that, love. We will definitely make a great team...

*lifts her eyes to his gaze as his fingers deftly ease her stray hair into place*

... looking forward to it cravon ...

*with effort she steps back and gives reluctant sigh*

Alas, I must go and get ready ... have a good weekend ... and I'll have something for you for Monday ...

*kisses his cheek lightly  and taking the mug of coffee scoots off ... *

:rose:

I will be waiting anxiously. I hope you have a great weekend!

I wipe the sweat from my brow after a hard day of digging up bushes and shrubs and moving them to new homes in different parts of the inn's courtyard and gardens. Always with an eye to keep those gardens with a wild natural feel to them. I fear f any get to close they will be over come by too much of a manly scent.

Evening all. Phoo Ming a Martini with some Bombay Sappier Far East and Nolly Pratt French vermouth sir.

I can understand that, Cg... And perhaps a long, hot shower before you seek your sheets as well?

Entering the Inn I see Angel and CG enjoying an evening drink and some gentle conversation. Heading to the bar, I mix myself an Icy cold Vodka with lime.

"Hey CG... If you were doing that much work outside... I'm guessing theer were no... puddles to worry about." ;)

Giving Angel a hug and a warm kiss, "Hey there Angel, happy to see you as always. I hope you day was good?"

*shudders violently of the mention of puddles*

Evening HF... And today sucked. Got caught up in a flash flood and thought I was going to drown in my car.

Oh nooooo.... That's not good at all. However... it's official, your day was worse than mine." Giving her a consoling hug.

Thanks. I have a sinking feeling I'll be taking a vacation day whenever it rains heavy for the next few months...

I said rains heavy... Not rains, but I do have ~5 weeks of vacation saved up because work usually gets in the way of fun.

After today's experiences, though, I think that's going to change

I am sorry to hear about your experience today. I'm sure it was more than a little scary to have water rising that fast. Not a good situation to be in at all. I am glad you made it OK though. Use those days as you see fit. That's what they are there for.

Very true, HF.

Got a text from my work hubby a few minutes ago - he was checking up on me. Apparently my new nickname at work is Splash...

Oh my... but Splash is better than some alternatives. I will restrain myself due to the seriousness of the incident and not enumerate.

Nonetheless I, and I'm sure everyone else at the Inn, is very happy you made it through OK.

*smiles at HF as she tries to re-light her creativity*

No worries, HF... My gallows humor has been going all day.

And actually, now that I think about it... The nickname might be dual-purposed...

LOL - Yes... I could see where that could be the case.

Of course, if you need help drying out your kindling... I was once a Boy Scout, and you know our motto... Be Prepared. :D

What a sharing, caring kinda guy.... *smiles at the thought of having her kindling dried out*

Well... you see the key is to spread it out so that the air can circulate around the..... wait.... I see what you did there... You Perv. ;)

 The evil twin has been awakened... She's just not letting me write crap yet.... :(

Pours two shots of Tequila and sets them on the bar with some salt and lime... raising one glass I raise it in toast.

"To Angel and her evil twin... may their kindling stay dry forever more."
