I walk in waving hello at those patrons assembled in the pearl this fine summer morning.

Good morning every body.

I sit down after making myself a nice mug of coffee and one of the muffins Phoo has fresh in a basket on the bartop.

*pops in to say hello before running off to change out of her dobok*

Howdies all! Hope ya'll are having a fine day. :)

*gives a cheery wave and is gone in a flash*

I look up from the notepad I was writing on to see Angel dashing inside and upstairs to change.

She must've just gotten back from Tae Kwan Do or something.

Howdy yourself, Angel.:)

I enter the Inn and find myself a cup of afternoon pick-me-up and head to a couch.

"Hey Veroe! Good to see you again, I haven't seen you around these parts for a while. I'm sorry I missed the Tequila shooter showdown!" LOL

Giving Angel a warm hug and a kiss. "Hey there pretty lady. I see you're starting to catch up on your writing."

Hey HF.

I acknowledge with a laugh at his reference.

It wasn't much of a contest. Asa can drink me under the table.

falls into a seat with a glass of cold sweet tea

Hanging out with friends is hazardous on my pocketbook especially when theres a list of 80 garage sales happening today about 15 miles away...but damn I had some fun!

Waves to her fellow innsters

Afternoon Vero. Long time no see I trust you are well.

It seems I have missed H F and Angel.

I wipe the sweat from my brow and remember it has been many a year sense I did any real rough carpentry and moving the wood shed closer to my wee cottage has been a process of deconstructing and then re-constructing the old shed.

Afternoon LT well as long as you had fun that is the important thing Miss.;)

It did seem she was enjoying it! LOL I seem to remember a scene similar to that that put me off Tequila, but that was a long time ago. ;)

Good Saturday afternoon, LT. Get anything good from one of those garage sales?

Oh and I read your response to DT, and all I got to say is: wow! I love how its going so far.

Afternoon to you too, CG. Good to see you too. It has definitely been too long.

LOL, yeah it's usually wiser to moderate, or not have such contests with something that hard a liquor.:D

but...but... I got a deep breath then starts rattling things off at breakneck speed

A brand new steam mop, fisher price magnet set x2 rollerblades and a set of 'zipper clothespins that the woman charmingly told me were "Great for hanging up kids artwork" (I had a hard time not telling her I had a certain someone in mind to clip them to and then pull the zipper lol) as well as a coffee grinder (not to be used for food purposes)

all for 25.00

That quite a bargain! *Not thinking about the coffee grinder, but of course all I can think of is the friggin' coffee grinder* It always seems the few I go to have worse crap then I do. LOL

Now... the question of the evening is... Do I fire up the grill and eat at a "normal" hour for a change, or do my regular late, "Euro style" routine. Decisions decisions....

Update... "Click... click... Whoosh" I love the sound of a lighting grill in the evening LOL :D

Well I am pleased all are well and have been busy writing, I fear I have but two active stories at the moment. almost had a third start but the young lady after saying yes she would be delighted just quietly back out never giving a reason or any explanation.

Perhaps my writing is passe.

Yeah I'm gonna try to get you a response tonight but I need to finish the post I'm working on right now first.

I love grilling. So what you making us?

No way in hell sir. You are awesome and never forget that.

nods.

That is nice of you to say Vero but the reality is I can't seem to find any new writers to collaborate with and the majority of my old writing partners have moved on from Lit.

No worries Veroe, as always I'd love a response if you have time, but as I am one post behind (for my co-author who might be reading this, yeah yeah I know, slacking off in the inn...I started it though lol) I have something to keep me occupied anyways smiles

CG, you know that lit goes through its ups and downs smiles teasingly at him and every time it goes into a slump you say the same things, then a short time later I see you with threads all over the place gentle hugs for him

Just a dry spell CG... It will pass.

I love grilling. So what you making us?
.

Cheese Burgers with all the fixin's and fresh Corn on the Cob. Yum! I'll bring back a platter for everyone. :D

LT is right, CG. You always come back with plenty of threads, and that's because you persevere and always have through the downs as well as the ups on Lit.

And as far as DT goes LT: I may just be able to start it and have to finish it tomorrow. So I'm glad theire's no rush on it today.

And cheeseburgers sound really good about now, HF.

Returning with two platters, both piled high. One with Cheese Burgers, the other with Corn on the Cob. Placing them on the Bar for all to enjoy.

"Dinner is server folks. Help yourself. They're yummy."

Making myself a drink and returning to the couch. "So, did I miss anything good while I was stuffing my face?"

Won't be long now. I'll write with you again.

I shall look forward to your return my naughty little Tomboy.

A hug and a soft kiss for a friend dearly missed.

Thank you all for your words of encouragement.

I shall look forward to maybe going to sea with you.

Looking up from my scribbleings, I see an old, new face; old to the Inn, new to me. I wave from my seat.

"Hi YoungLisa, pleasure to meet you."
