Apparently I shouldn't wear my equalizers to work on the days I'm taking TKD in the evening. Rolled my ankle during the "breaking technique" portion. Technically you want to break the board, not your ankle...

Peaking up from my scribbles, I see angel and LT discussing Angel's latest TKD related injury.

Giving the injured warrior a welcoming hug and a kiss I inquire, "And what were you doing kicking boards in platforms to begin with? Isn't that a barefoot activity?" Smiling as I take a sip of my water.

Awwwwww... It's all fair and fun at the Inn. However, for what it's worth, the image of you flying through the air in your TKD uniform and equalizers is a pretty funny image.

"Um... what are equalizers?" rubbing eyes sleepily.

I slip into he quiet Inn and smile softly at Essie in her armchair, before going about my beloved chores .I pop on the coffee pot to perk and set about tending the dwindling fire happy tto see the fresh pile of logs neatly stacked at one side.

Soon the fire was merrily crackling in the grate bringing warmth and life tomthe old Inn. laying out a plate of freshly baked double chocolate douch brownies I sleepily fill my own mug with the coffee I have lovingly prepared.

Closing my eyes I breath in the sensual aroma it gives off...it truly is the elixer of life....

"have a wonderful day Essie," I lean over to give her a hug and place a cup of coffee and a brownie by her side.

" please have a happy day all who follow, "

I whisper in my softly melodic voice before heading to my favorite overstuffed chair in the shadows, I have a new post to read and am delighted.

Yeishia's unexpected kindness brings a smile to my face and a warmth to my heart. Wrapping my hands around the warm mug of fragrant coffee, I break off a piece of brownie and let it melt on my tongue, wiping all my cares away and replacing them with blissful calm.

I have a pair of platform sandals that I call my equalizers because they sport a 5 inch heel (well, technically it's only like a 3 inch slope thanks to the platform piece) that allow me to see into the ice tray in a freezer and other mundane RW things that people under 5 ft don't typically get to enjoy.
