Stocks over to her, my eyes never leaving his prey. Bends to wrap my arms around her then my wings and lifts her. My eyes till never leaving hers. My head tilting back to fallow her ascent. I winks at her. And suddenly my arms release her. My wings hold her in place as my arms move. My left hand stopping on her ass, as my right stops on the back of you head.

"It could have been better... Kiss me!"

Without waiting for her response I pull her face down to mine. I am ravenous but I force a small amount of control out of myself. Converting my wing so that the inside feathers are downy soft and the out sides sets look like tower shields in a phalanx. I let my hands roam just a bit knowing the only thing that can be seen by the out side world is our kiss.

Then slowly I ascend an since or two. Moving for the door I pick up speed. Stopping only as I bump against the frame. I ease back from the kiss slowly lowering her to the ground with just my wing.

"I'm off to find a cabin. I so owe you a response there."

*walks into the Inn a little more gingerly than normal and places her notepad and water bottle on her favorite couch*

Afternoon to all that may be lurking in the shadows...

*carefully sits down on the couch, stuffing the ice pack under her leg and begins to doodle in her notepad on some overdue responses*

Ninja Raven Style appears behind the couch.

"How's the leg? Can I get you a glass of fresh blended and pressed wild fruit juice? The only thing wild is where it comes from." Shakes offered glass to one side of her.

*squeaks in surprise at the voice behind her, almost dropping her notepad*

Lord, you scared me...

*smiles ruefully*

Thank you, but I don't do juices unless they're liberally splashed with alcohol, and I still need to get the kids to swim practice this evening....

"I can't offer the alcohol yet. I haven't been there long enough for things to get good and happy in a yeast batch. Or had time to set up a still."

No worries on my part...

*lowers her voice in confidence* Alcohol makes it harder to control Angelzebub anyway...

Well there are the three magi (or wise men) the "people"... And then apparently there's the alcohol. The alcohol was new to me... ;)

*rises with a grimace from the couch and starts for the door*

Well, I'm off to do battle again... Will be back later if I'm not stuck crawling up the stairs.

Keep your fingers crossed... :rose:

Shakes his head. Crosses his fingers just in case it helps. Then remembering this is a inn. Hops behind the bar and begins setting up mixers and shots. A book on mixers out and open. He starts with its favorite. Fuzzy nut with a screw. From there its an ocean of mixed shots and drinks from Blow Job to Zombie. All placed in a hermetic glass top fridge with ingredients listed by each drink. There now its time to sneak out and find a gun range.

*trudges back into the Inn, armed with yet another ice pack, thankful to at least be upright*

Evening to all who may be lurking in the shadows...

*settles gingerly onto her couch, tucks the ice pack under her leg and begins trying to sketch out at least one reply for the evening*

Good evening, Raven...

My leg didn't stop me from any of the workout tonight (good news). I was able to do squats and lunges without a problem, but when I try to do splits or stretches ... Let's just say I'm going to have to baby it for a bit I think.

I would if I may recommend Tiger Balm patches. And light duty for that leg for at least four days. Not sure I could convince you to go a week. Like I said I'm not a professional. Just 18+ years in the service, and my fare share of fights where I had to stitch myself back up. And please take it ease on the kicks for about two weeks, not saying don't do them just slow and steady. If you feel you have to kicks work more on form. Last two things you want is the leg to give out mid kick(no matter which leg your kicking with) or a repetitive sports injury.

*a little smile appears on her lips*

Unfortunately patience is not much of a strong suit of mine as one would think of someone bearing a halo, so I'm going to be lucky to curtail my activities for four days, let alone a full week. However, I pulled something in my left hamstring while in TKD class in February so I definitely know I have to take it somewhat easier...

Thankfully this was more of a ping (thwang really) than the pop that almost had me screaming during class, so I know it's not as bad... But it scared the dickens out of me, so I'm trying to take it easy. But belt graduation is in 3-4 weeks so I gotta be able to do a jumping front snap kick by then... And my right leg is usually so much stronger/more precise than my left...

*pouts a little*

I still say try the Tiger Balm patches. Is similar to ice hot, deep heat, bengay. But its time released. It works great on stiff, sore, or inflamed muscles. The more they relax the more relief to the tendon or ligament you pulled. The faster the healing, the less patients one need exert.

*slips into the Inn and realizes she's the first in this morning and wishes she knows how to stop the coffee*

Morning to all that may be lurking in the shadows
