Oh there was I time not to long ago that ID face anything that breathes. And would lay odds on myself.
But truth be told... I would sell my soul if all treats were visible, physical or other. At least that way the good people could see them coming.

Unfortunately I've seen the bullying start as early as kindergarten... Wish I could afford to stay at home and home school, but I can't.

Angel the kids are going to live in the real world. they are going to have to learn to deal with all kinds of people, some good , some bad, and some just there. The best way to deal with a bully is to stand up to them even if you take a beating. I know we want to protect our kids but some times they just have to take care of them selves.

I don't disagree, Cg, but there are some things that a child shouldn't have to defend themselves against.

I can attest to that. Six years old flying backwards in and out if a car because someone didn't like America. Good thing one of the doors were open.

Found out this weekend that one of my daughter's friends from TKD tried to commit suicide in May (I assumed we were just on different schedules) because of bullying that the school wouldn't address. And found out that another of my friend's neighbors was assaulted. Both were only 12!

Found out this weekend that one of my daughter's friends from TKD tried to commit suicide in May (I assumed we were just on different schedules) because of bullying that the school wouldn't address. And found out that another of my friend's neighbors was assaulted. Both were only 12!

I'm so sorry my generation didn't teach consequence better at homes and schools.

Raven there is no consequences when we do social promotions. There is no accountability when we pass students from grade to grade even when they have failed their courses just to keep them with their peer group.
